  4. the arch would be easy to rasie up with a bit of steel and some welding but i did some par-bucking on the Kombidrag and i was not happy as i the bolsters do not lift out but fold down, and i was worried about them as they make it not easy to get a place to put some wood or steel to create the ramp but a bit of welding i reckon you could use the square box on the side

  6. Minnie i love the scales when compaired to the winch and logs
  7. it the lack of time due to uni and in all in house work and it the wrong type of production as its mostly chip or slective felling due to the shoot but if it is an arch you are looking for the norwegins chains are slightly different sized i have strugled to find chain with the same links over here and i have not used the arch much but i like the way the rachets work but i am less sure about the drag as i would look at Morgan Andersson stuff as it seem well made and i would by that over a kombidrag and i dont like the draft angles
  8. had her a year now and i like the combi drag but bot usit for logs to much
  9. i would say it well worth having a go as it very different working a horse in the woods and you would be amazed what they can do

  12. I would tell you to get lost at those prices for that size of machine. it was cheeper /m for us to get someone in that use our own digger to do ours. as it was able to do 80+m an hour in good going and spread it
  13. a non biomass chipper will not have screen's and there for you will have a higher risk of blockages in the boiler, and the better wood you put through the better the chip quality
