  5. ps the other thing is turn the bowl in one go,don't leave it between turning processes

If you turn the bowl or whatever to a nice even thickness,then just hope for the best Ideally moisture content should be about 15%.But even the wettest wood can work out ok.The Ash burr was big and this is just a small piece so moisture content is around 30% The burr will shrink back but hopefully not crack,Matbe i'm just lucky

  12. Hi The wood called keroin is very weather resistant,we had some staging covered with it and it was ouside for 20 years without any probs As for the rest of it 2 coats of external Osmo might work so long as the daughter recoats it every year or two
