  1. Stein 3001 if you have different Groundsman, ArbPro LD2 if you have a regular team it will transform take downs, also remember it's the only winch loading device that is CE marked, and the break is rather important I feel. All depends on your situation mate
  2. Get that akimbo sorted out matt, that's got death trap written all over it for flips sake 😜
  3. Let's not argue now 😂 I'm not old but been climbing 12 years. 10 of those as a contract climber and about 5 on SRT. Put it simply, I'm faster, more productive and safer on SRT, to the point that a lot of contract work is from having SRT, phone call will go like..."it will just be faster if you do it with your shiny stuff" yes it may take and extra 10mins setting yourself up with a throw line, but from there on, easy peasy your miss's is a squeeze. If it was slower or crapper no one would do it. Now that I have strayed, back to the thread- get a wrench and a tether and pop down to a treekit SRT workshop with Ben. Only like £40.
  4. I think that gm is basically a green timberwolf 150 lol
  5. Not actually that bad then considering
  6. Are the myth about being a lot more expensive than its rivals true?
  7. I guess so mate. I have no idea what a new 230 would set me back though
  8. Hence the 230 having one twice the size I guess
  9. Sorry I mean 2027, the 230 doesn't. I saw a 2 year old one with around 430 hours on it for £11,000
  10. Looks pretty cool
  11. I guess we won't know until it's 2017 haha one thing I have noticed is they don't hold there value like a 150
  12. Depends on your experience and where you live mate
  13. I understand the old model was very popular but I haven't seen any of these new ones around
  14. Does anyone own one of these?
  15. 200mx? Yea that's an interesting one with the little engine. But still an awesome chipper does it compete with the st6 and tw230?
  16. 230 or st6 then? 😂😂
  17. Has anyone used the new Vermeer 190xl on here?
  18. I would honestly fell that into the road mate
  19. Rumours are it could be fuel injected, well that's what the stihl guys said at the apf after twisting there arm
  20. Even against a bigger machine?
  21. Would you say it is a lot better than the new 6" like the timberwolf 230? Also what are the main differences between Jensen and forst?
  22. What hp is it mate?
  23. Ok here is my predicament. I'm looking into getting a new chipper. I want something bigger than a 6" so I'm going down the line of jensen a540, timberwolf 190, schleising 200mx etc etc Now I have noticed that Jensen often have a smaller engine than the timberwolf, but everyone seems to rate them as a better machine, so is engine size not always important. I understand the 200mx is a smaller machine than the others but many say it can keep up with them. Again it has a tiny engine in. comparison. What are your thoughts? And also what would you choose?
  24. ArbPro evo 2 still going strong here. But all ArbPro boots have very soft sticky soles for climbing, so don't last that long if you want to drag brash with them
  25. Well what a faff
