  2. If it's really asbestos insulation call HSE,as all removal of asbestos that's primary purpose is insulation need's a licence and has to be done by licensed contractors

    Sleep.

    For getting off to sleep ,try melatonin,was given it to combat jet lag.Works wonders and no drowsy or groggy symptoms next day. Can say the same with booze
  8. Anyone been getting their roof cleaned in the area lately ? Seems break in's follow after the lovelly men(whose houses have wheels) in white vans have been round doing the neighbour hood roofs

  17. Vote for container painted black but open slatted ends and solar powered fans,wee 4 inch ones; six on top near middle ,three either side,but air flows the main dryer,as long as stack's have space in between . Wood mainly dries from the ends

  20. You have to pay the VAT if asked , but if Royal Mail tries to stiff you for a Clearance Fee for collecting that VAT , you dont have to pay that . Offer to pay the VAT and if they refuse to give you the parcel once thats paid , they are in serious trouble for withholding royal mail I bought a Fiskars Super Splitter(7854) , they tried to charge me VAT of £10.02 and a clearance fee of £8.00. I offered to pay VAT and was refused parcel, long story short , i got my parcel , they waived or paid themselves the VAT and got £50.00 compensation for my trouble so got the 7854 free. Oh best spliiting tool ever
  21. About a hour ish on average,depends on temprature,hillwalking in minus 5 its about 15mins, hot days up to two but never been able to fill a 4gb card .Deffo worth a tenner though
  22. My tuppence worth is , its very very easy to come down in price but hard to go up . You can always start a bit higher and come down and customer thinks he's getting better bargin

  24. Hello , wondering if you can help .I will need to purchase some hardwood (prefer birch) for firewood this year. I cant get access to my usual place as its been felled and replanted and factor dont want anyone on it this year.

    I'm in inverness and prob looking for about 3 cube , have access 4x4 so can take up to about 1.5m long or can maybe sort out uplift
