  1. Trouble is there's always someone who will deliver in to your next door neighbour. I did same as you last yr. guy 2 miles from me wanted 2 artic loads cord. I told him I had none available. Week later he had 3 artic loads ash, sycamore delivered in £50 load cheaper than me. And then he told his mate about it 20 miles away no I'd supplied with 3 loads previously and he had 4 loads off same guy. Ever heard of cutting your nose to spite your face. Take the money and if there local charge them same rate as you would if they were 20 miles away. They will only get it from somewhere else. Your not the only one in country selling cord that's for certain.
  2. The 300's weren't that bad to be fair.. Try a 3 if you want problems.
  3. No point me selling it roadside. I only buy it to get haulage work from it. It's not my wood I just buy it from local 24000 acre estate.
  4. havent the time or energy to go into detail... theres various posts scattered around with details.... havin owned newish range rover td6 and tdv8, a rr sport [ disco 3 with a body kit basically] a newer shape defender 90 and the disco commercial we had from new i can say that each and everyone has been pile crap from day one with things going wrong constantly, most under warranty but still no excuse.. our companies will never buy another veichle with a landrover badge thats for sure... i sold range rover and have a land cruiser amazon, sold 56 plate defender and have more reliable 54 plate L200 got rid of mrs sport and replaced with an audi Q7 [10 times veichle sport ever could be]. old mans recently bought beautiful 30k mile 07 land cruiser amazon to replace that disco3... and have to say we both had land cruisers 10 yrs ago and should stayed with them... my old one is still going with 300k on clock..
  5. Have nice disco 3 08 plate commercial 55k miles needs new home??? When I say nice, it's a land rover and we will never buy another as long as we have a pulse, but each to their own!!
  6. Yes mate. What's post code. And birch etc or beech as haulage will differ. Thanks.
  7. very nice [pics to follow on monday] birch/ash/sycamore/oak cut to 3m lengths so 3 bays on trailer, cut end october.. also pure beech in 3m lengths. all processor size [will be few larger butts in load].. available straight away... birch etc located J12 of M4 and beech near guildford.
  8. a pm you mean??? if so didnt get it...? my in box was full for few days..?
  9. I could buy all of it. Bring a load up with me. Sell all cosy's timber locally then bring load back.
  10. like said previously he must been coming to end of his sentence.. which makes you wonder why you'd escape with prob only short time left to serve..
  11. Remember 10 yrs ago my mate was in open prison. His mrs used to pick him up from bottom of field in evening then drop him back early next morning. He did that 2 or 3 times week for ages before he was released. I would never have believed it only I saw him several times myself.
  12. Thanks. Be down with another load prob thurs if that's ok.
  13. Postcode?? I can bring you much as you want. Thanks Nick.
  14. i'd be interested in the tractor if for sale???
  15. my palax was 2 yrs old when i got it??
  16. Too right. Be busy hay making in July though. If it ever stops raining...!!!
  17. I'm not going. Mrs, mother in law and kids.
  18. Operator error????? It's automatic once log is cut, or supposed to be. Was 6 months old when I bought it..
  19. It's sat in nettles since I bought it for nearly a yr. prob won't move far from there now to be honest. Delivered an artic load cord before Xmas to someone who had nothing good to say about his one, or the dealer he bought it from. In 2 times I've used it we've had problems with ram either not coming out or coming out all the time. Only thing I ever did to my palax was put new motor on outfeed conveyor (cos they are all hydraulically driven, no flimsy belt drives to be seen) and that was only cos someone hit it with forklift and snapped shaft off end.
  20. Wouldn't wish that pile crap on my worst enemy. Mine might just be a one off pile rubbish, but I doubt it. It's just not built well. Not compared to a palax anyway.
  21. Don't bother mate. Utter rubbish. Wait bit longer and buy a palax ks35s. Twice the machine. Better built. I put 500 ton through my palax without a breakdown. ( till it caught fire) Not put 10 ton through my nearly new 1x37 and I've chucked it in corner of yard and gone back to chainsaw and log splitter. Built out Mickey Mouse metal and put together by a 2 yr old. Every time we went to use it something goes wrong. And speaking to few others who have them say very similar. If you've never used another machine you'd prob think it was ok. Jappa700 is better but not as good as a ks35
  22. 2 adults. 3 children. All flights, accommodation food, drink no spending money needed as such. Big water park for kids and children's entertainment every day. And Portugal which is not cheap at best times, compared with some other prices she got it was bargain.. And in July. I wouldn't go there if you payed me, hence reason she's taking her mum. 2 weeks in Argentina every 3 yrs shooting every day and no change from £7000 does me. (Hence reason I can only afford every 3 yrs).
  23. Mrs booked a week in Portugal for our 3 kids, her and her mum in July. All inc in a family resort so loads for kids to do every day, £2600. Thought that was a bargain to be honest.
  24. Anyone??????
