  1. Looks tidy!! Can I ask where you sourced the dumper? Iv looked at obvious routes but they seem to hold top money. Was it imported?
  2. I had this problem and I worked it out to be the truck was lower than the balance point of the trailer if that makes sense., put an adjustable hitch on and all is good now. There's plenty of other motors being mentioned in this thread, but, on paper and for the money you can't buy a 3500kg tow vehicle with five years warranty for same money. Nothing's perfect.
  3. I have had no problems with stopping or steering and it had been loaded to its limits.
  4. On mine there's a dipstick change, soft wear update and another minor thing which Iv forgotten.
  5. I have the same problem, pulling off in first is just too high geared to be pulling what they say it can safely, nothing worse then having to ride the clutch. I also had to put an adjustable tow bar on as I found the standard one way too low. I also think they 'sit down well' on the back end with even the slightest load. Having said all of that I'm still chuffed in general with mine. Have a check if you've any recalls due, mine needs 3, only minor things.
  6. Just a quick one, what percentage of work do gain from the internet if any? Aaron.
  7. I had same problem on a scooby so put some rally tyres on.
  8. A few for criticism. Hope that worked. Aaron
  9. Set up the same as you would close board. Set a string to your desired height and of you go, keeping it as level as you can whilst still making it suitable for its application. Rail up as you go.
  10. @ £38 an hour the tractor won't move on the Ag side of things, you'd be lucky to get £30, with own diesel.
  11. Pets at home, bag of cat litter.
  12. You ask what is reasonable? That's totally irrelevant to be honest. Price needs to be what ever you need to charge, no point in putting a reasonable price in if you can't make any money. As others have said, post Crete or dry mix rammed hard then water poured before you leave have it done in one trip. Job like that gotta be £30 mtr to even bother with.
  13. 'If it ain't broke.......'
  14. It is a very good bit of kit looking at it but am I right in thinking its around the 6k mark? Its a lot of money compared to the quick fencer, after all they do the same job and one wouldn't be much if any quicker than the other, its a lot of money to run some wire out. Certainly would be a luxury. Aaron
  15. I had good look at nugent trailers at Lamma show recently and I was well impressed. Look really well made and thought out. Would definitely be worth considering .
  16. Used to do a lot of tracks when down in the new forest. It was all mostly hogging used but we used to rip the track with an old chisel plough followed by grading and a roll. Cheap and easy and don't be scared of plenty of camber. Filling in pot holes just won't work, if you insist on it try and rip the surrounding area a bit before filing and compacting hard again. Won't be a permanent fix but should last longer then it has been.
  17. loving mine!!
  18. general rule is you want double the size of your post, eg 4 inch = 8 inch auger.
  19. I have recently ordered a new truck and have now been waiting 3 months which I knew from the start, that's all fine. Problem I have is that the vehicle has not arrived on the due date which I imagined could happen but the dealer is claiming they don't actually get told when the lorry comes in, it just turns up when the company sends it? That to me doesn't sound right? Is anyone in the know? is this the norm or am I getting strung along over something? Aaron
  20. I came to the conclusion that they were well spec'd for the money but warranty was 2 years behind others and they have reports from being thirstier than others.
  21. Don't do it Harry!! I bought one your on about from where your Likely to be looking at them, terrible pick up, always leaves grass clippings behind and you have to go over it twice, find mine slow as well, but there good for mulching I will say that. Come and have a go if you want, make your own mind up.
  22. nothing, or near as dam it, 31.00 are for 15 inch rims and 265 are normally on 16's.
  23. 265's or 31.00 are as big as you can go without scrubbing the arches.
