  1. Oops. Post in error. Dave
  2. Thanks. Got it visualised now. Think you've all just made my life easier and saved me money at the same time. Thanks! Dave
  3. Great advice and glad you're rating Cladco. Think membrane the way to go. Just need to get my head around fixing membrane add you describe. Would you use plain sheeting above and board below or can membrane just be pulled tight? Sorry if I'm a bit slow to visualize. Dave
  4. Thanks guys. I'll look into the foam backed stuff. Dave
  5. Need to get roof on the workshop and I'm looking at this. http://www.cladco.uk.com/NoConDrop.html It needs ventilation which I can build in. Big question is does it stop drips? Any experience out there? Thanks, Dave
  6. You'll need to change your id soon! Desperately looking for my mojo. Need to be back in the saddle. Dave
  7. Thanks!
  8. If I can get mine looking half as good as yours I'll be a happy man! Well done and I'll be asking for help from time to time if that's ok. Dave
  9. All looking good! My missus will start burning soon enough and it'll be fine to start again. Dave
  10. 27 cu m. I use half the store a year so seasons for 2 years which it needs even though off the ground to increase air flow. Last year was 100% beech and I didn't use it all. Next year lime and horse chestnut so I'll need every last log. Built from reclaimed timber from a barn a pal was taking down. Dave
  11. Last few logs squeezed in for winter of 2014/15. Finished! I'm running late this year. Normally finished by April. Dave
  12. Not sure the old 4000 comes under 'powerful'! I'm always looking to use what I have first before hiring in. Dave
  13. My ditches are next to good tracks. Is there anything I could pull off set from the tractor to cut the ditches? Dave
  14. The perfect film to split logs to? Logan's Run Splinter Men in Trees
  15. Trying to get on with getting a roof up on the shed. House 50m away on a 3 phase supply so buried an armored cable and armoured cat 5e. Will have 50 amps in the workshop. Slow going as life keeps getting in the way. Missus wants it to double as place for our soon to be teenagers to hang out. Hence planned network, projector and sound system. Dave
  16. And there in a nutshell is why more and more people want trees gone from their gardens. Dave
  17. Hard at it! Dave
  18. Cheers Tommy. Much appreciated. If you see a silver 9 seater van towing a trailer tent with a stressed dad and 3 bouncing kids give us a wave! Dave
  19. Kids start summer holiday next week so taking them camping near Skipton for a week. I need fluids and paint for my old Ford. Any recommended dealers nearby? We'll be around Bradford and up A1 to Light water valley (aarrrggghhhh!). Also need a roller door for shed but that's another story! Cheers, Dave
  20. Better to keep your mouth shut and look stupid than to open it and confirm it.
  21. And they'd believe me? Any hire shop would chase if an engine seized what ever oil used. I'm just surprised that a knowledgeable place would insist on a brand. Maybe it stops inexperienced folk mixing in whatever 5w40 they have in their shed. I'll end up mixing 5l with stihl oil then using leftovers in husky saws. Dave Dave
  22. Issue came up this weekend. Hire place know I'm a husky man so when I picked up a stihl blower for the day I got lectured on how it must be run on stihl oil. 'Och it'll be fine' didn't cut it and they refused to hire until I bought some stihl oil. Won't be so honest next time when asked what oil I use! Dave
  23. Great price with the kit. Look forward to the tales! Dave
  24. 1859kg for yours according to Tractor Data. http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/7/6/767-massey-ferguson-265.html Dave
  25. Email sent. Need something for tractor key! Dave
