  1. Thanks. Will do.
  2. 10 inch?
  3. They put small cable tie on gate or railing of property where they spot valuable dog. Then come back later to steal. the traveller gangs are more efficient at planning than the best utility companies
  4. They use cable ties for that over here

Isn’t there a husky version of that ? ive got one in the shed. great little thing but oiler adjustment screw would turn up or down when running . probably a simple fix.
  10. On my machine (microbull) I could fit valve just out from hyd couplings and would be within reach. (I think)
  11. I’ve been toying with the idea of fitting a “float valve “ to allow rotator to follow when dragging long stuff.
  12. I think gearbox was weak point of DX

  14. As far as I know , Jansen are identical to Rock Machinery and their stuff is pretty good. I’ve had the Rayco RG13 for about 15 years and it has been bombproof.
  15. There are lots of quality 6inch pto chippers around but they are from £4k to £6k. I would keep your money, buy something decent on finance, get the work done in a fraction of the time ,at a fraction of the labour cost (without destroying your knuckles ) youd only be paying back £50ish a week at most. Plus it won’t have lost a lot of its value when paid off.
  16. Very wet and very windy here
  17. Well spotted! flipped over letting down last branch over river

    Merry Xmas

Happy Christmas everyone 👍👍👍 and thanks to site for easing the cabin fever this year.
  19. Mini chippers are great for the odd hard to get at tree but the labour cost of chipping is going to be much higher. would much rather pay for a machine that will save on man hours day in day out.
  20. I also used skylotec for a long time, Changed to a Notch harness last year and liked it straight away.
  21. Same here. did look at Greenmech but no comparison in the way 230 can pull in branches.
  22. Came in handy again this week.
  23. Yes. Tom D,s old one. yes ,serious flow. Canal was built in the 1850s (famine relief project) to link two large lakes but area is a maze of caves and underground rivers so there’s stretches with no water and stretches like this one.
  24. Few fallen trees to pull out of canal. I think the method statement took longer than the job on this one.
