    WOW

Maybe the person who felled it was hoping it could be blamed on storm Agnes, tree blew over innit
  2. That is sad. I hadn't heard of it before, but it looked like a beautiful tree in an amazing spot
  3. The camerawork gives you a headache after a while, but this looks a good firewood set up. Electric, under cover in a nice bright shed, cctv on the log deck, remote controlled/auctomatic

  4. The tester I've spoke to in the past said the bed has to be secured properly, so heavy corrosion to the mountings would be a fail. On the gumtree truck one of the mountings has totally disappeared, the other isn't far behind. Mine failed the mot years ago, and it was nowhere near as bad! These bodies are made by VFS/Scattolini, they're not painted, it's some sort of plastic coating, so I assume the water gets behind the coating and rusts them out. Biodegradable innit.
  5. Not much left holding the body together or even attaching it to the chassis of the truck, and it's just passed an MOT 2009 Renault Master CCML35dCi 100 Low Roof Chassis Cab CHASSIS CAB Diesel Manual | in Upton, West Yorkshire | Gumtree WWW.GUMTREE.COM A1 CAR SALES. Renault Master ccml35dci 100 chassis cab with tipper body, it has only covered 74375 miles, Power Assisted Steering, Anti Lock Brakes, In Car Entertainment... "Just put through 12 months mot"

    Jokes???

  7. So the college requires you to use class c "all round" protection when it's not deemed necessary, but doesn't care if the rated chain speed matches the saw used? Has there been a risk assessment carried out on operators overheating in chainsaw trousers? You said the course is countryside management, how often do you use a chainsaw on it?

    Jokes???

    Nope nae chance
  9. Don't know if it's any use but I've got a load of hollow promises I could definitely drop round in the morning

    How much?!!

A guy I know is getting dental work done in Poland, apparently it's half the price of here. I'm sure he said £25k, can't remember was that the local price or the Poland price
  11. Milwaukee do one aswell, atleast it has an oiler, 5m/s chain speed
  12. I use the Husky battery blower, just looked and it is the 525ib. Another advantage is storage in a vehicle, it's narrower so fits in a spot where a petrol wouldn't and because there's no fumes/fluids/leaks/hot exhaust you can store it in the cab, down the back of the seats etc so it's always to hand
  13. I thought Hunter stoves were still on the go, do they not do the spare parts for the older stoves anymore?
  14. For clearing large areas of leaves, woodchip, snow, the biggest most powerful 2t backpack blower. For general tidying up sawdust, grass cuttings, cleaning off machines etc, a powerful handheld battery blower
  15. I posted the photo on another thread, this was the same road, but 30miles away, and 2 weeks ago:
  16. Falling tree hits campervan (well campervan hits fallen tree...) on the nc500 PICTURE: Drone images show tree across A835 trunk road at scene of earlier Ross-shire accident near Garve WWW.ROSS-SHIREJOURNAL.CO.UK Drone images give bird's eye view of A835 accident which resulted in one man being taken to hospital for treatment.
  17. I should be getting a discount on os maps! Reminds me a bit of the War Department logo
  18. F*ck me I have a similar logo carved into the stone on my house, I had always thought it was a mason's mark. Turns out it's listed on that site as a benchmark!!
  19. Yes wheelie bins do burn well, but it is hard to find a reliable supply of them, and the locals have started complaining
  20. Curious as to how it might be safer than a normal chainsaw? No chainbrake and designed for single handed use?
  21. I'm taking a punt, just ordered a pair, £30 delivered off ebay, size 10 only. Might make good garden/yard slippers

  23. It says it on the plate, Esse MF100 https://www.esse.com/wp-content/themes/esse/downloads/guides-and-manuals/woodburning-stoves/MFSE100.pdf
  24. This boot? https://www.fifecountry.co.uk/aqua-tuff-safety-rigger-boots-0208 Have you got, is it comfy? I used to have a pair of Hoggs leather lace up boots. They were good boots, but hell of a weight to them.
