  1. Todays job. Attempt to bale the remainder of the cut hay with the mini baler. And top the remainder of the site. The topping went well despite the tractor not getting there until nearly 3. Still got 1 and half field to top yet. Will need to get up there before the week is done to get it topped. May get the BCS back and tidy up the bits the flail cant get to.

  6. According to the gent who MOT'd it. The chassis flexed where the holes were when the suspension was attaching. We are getting a galv chassis from Marsland for about £1700 (inc VAT and P +P) delivered to the garage.

  8. Could have saved you the fuel to Bath as dad and i could have run you upto Frome as we went through Shafts to ge to Frome. Still was good to meet up. Will have to have another catch up in the near future.

  10. Cool. No worries m8. Didn't wake up with scrumpy guts this morning either so all good. Did you find your way home after your satnav took you up the A350? Beleive it or not that twisty pain is the main trunk road from Poole Harbour which feeds the A303 and M4.

  12. At the CLA game fair last year a bar was charging £4.80 for a pint of Strongbow hich was flat, warm and tasted watered down. I only bought half a pint as it was so much. 2 hog roast places were charging £5.50 for a bap and 7 quid for a baguette.

  16. It was a cracking day yesterday. Cheers Jon for taking me up and bringing back home. Next time we should definately camp up there so we can see the site in more detail and in a less rushed manner. Was good to meet fresh faces and to put names to faces too.

  18. Tried the bay. nothing which jumps out.
  19. Dads 110 went in for an MOT and it failed on the chassis:blushing: . We need a complete galvanised chassis as the previous was an un galvanised original. Does anyone know whwere we can get a full 300tdi 110 chassis for just over a grend including VAT? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  23. I was in school when it happened. Instead of lessons we were asked if we would rather go home or watch live news. Alot of kids said go home but a few stayed and watched the news. When the planes hit i felt a shiver down my spine. I remember it so clearly. When i watch the programmes about it i get a lump in my throat as i lost 6 friends in the second plane crash. I didn't find out until 2 years later.
  24. I shall see if we can pay a visit to it at the fung hunt weekend.
  25. There is an old deer park near me tony with some big old Oaks on a boundary ditch. Its called Harbins Park. It is private land but there is a bridleway which passes alongside the oaks.
