  1. But was a pretty dead show.
  2. Good man. If I could afford to come down and help I would, this sort of thing really gets to me. It will take tens/hundreds of years to get that back to how it was, but those to 'scrotes won't care when there drinking their buckfast and smoking. Dispatching injured beasts is not for the faint hearted, well done you can do it. I'm on the deer road traffic incident lists and have done a couple, its real harrowing stuff. It makes my blood boil that they get away with this, and I bet their kids are doing it in 10 years time - that attitude is hereditary Good on all the lads/lasses giving a hand.
  3. Chester Zoo buys them for lion food among other things, they buy in bulk and about £1-£2 a rabbit - I think.
  4. Unless they beat my butcher at £2.50 paunched I'm out. Nice idea though
  5. I need two pairs of chip proof Ray Ban's. And one pair of Front protection Levis Get to france.
  6. I really don't want to.
  7. Burning softwoods here, they do just as well for me!
  8. Yeah, really comfy. Buy the extra sleeves or whatever they're called for easy packing, worth double what they cost.
  9. I actually did eat one, not in a pie though. It was rather good actually
  10. Hennesey Hammocks (google) are the best going, all in one hammock, tarp and rigging. Dead easy to rig up. I use one for canoeing, really top notch quality but a little cold in winter. Sam
  11. In a pie?
  12. I'm so sorry for you, I have a friend who fell ill with the same disease about two years ago, poor lad has never been the same again. I hope you pull round and beat it in the long run mate.
  13. Classic Bolam banter
  14. I can tell you it isn't her, she's going out with a mate of mine
  15. I will put money on it being someone like this... Google Image Result for http://cache.jalopnik.com/cars/tailpipe_man.jpg Now where is that chunder smiley...
  16. What you think does not represent what everyone round here does! You can shift seasoned hardwoods at £125 a cube all day long (Cheshire). I had someone ring me up from Lancaster yesterday wanting mixed softwoods at up to £100 a ton, I sent them to the directory on here. What do you do for a living? I'm not about to pick you apart or anything, just nosey
  17. It's not arb waste, its arb arisings Keep getting as much free wood as you can because it won't last. Part of the problem is the GP see woodland as just something, like concrete, they do not see it as a crop, or in fact something that is put there by people. Sam
  18. How much would you take for one?

  20. Well. All of "my" climbing work is done by subcontractors, because thats not what I as a person do, but when my company does it I want the most professional work I can get. However. If a client asks "Can you take that branch off?" I/we will put a point across, from the health and appearance of the tree perspective, and try and come to some conclusion where everyone is happy. But I wont say "I'm not doing it because it's lob sided etc.". But neither would I let the above happen. Fortunately I don't do much domestic work, so I get by without thinking about this very much
  21. Top notch as always matey:thumbup:
  22. "Bodgeing" Jobs and not working to the trees best interests are not the same thing surely?
  23. Don't get me wrong I like working for the tree, I tried it, and I can't afford to - simple as. The clients pay the bills and there will always be some despicable scrote who will do what he is told, good or bad. Way of the world.
  24. If you don't someone else always will.
