  1. Dan I'm ordering a new body for mine so my body will be spare , you will just need to source a leg for it. If anyone has any spare parts
  2. Totally agree, it's the better tool for majority of jobs.
  3. And the ease of releasing slack threw the top of the lj as you can barely do it with the sj as the brake gets in the way.
  4. Are you using a cambium saver? If not then different bark and friction will react different every time you climb where as if you use a friction saver your friction will stay consistent and you will soon get used to it.
  5. Do you no find that your rope pi is running across your fisherman knots in the pinto, I tried this before and found the added friction was a pain plus abit dangerous as well.
  6. 👍👍🇬🇧god save the queen.
  7. It should say power ranger on the side, looks like a big helmet I wouldn't want to climb in it. Does look comfy tho.
  8. Sorry tobe really dumb but what do you mean? Triangulate?
  9. I use a topper on the ground most the time nice and light plus it's always the closest saw around lol.
  10. Does that help the strength of it? 😃 I wouldn't want a floppy one
  11. Hey John flitch is a lovely ride I'm a dunmow boy and used to play on the flitch line often, where's this new cafe in Canfield?
  12. Consider the lockjack as well. I've been on a sj for couple of years but once the body wears you get creep and it cost £60 plus vat to replace it but with the lockjack the plate only cost around 20.its midline attachable and grabs more reliable than a sj especially when using a foot pantin. I've had both devices I prefer the sj for Rec climbing but I think the Lj is a better working tool.
  13. I was one of them Guys a few years back but if I hadn't had bought the shiny gear my heart wouldn't have stayed in the job! Shiny things make it exciting you soon learn gear doesn't make you a good climber.
  14. Where you from Breffni?
  15. Geoff fancy meeting up Sometime for a fish I could Do with some tips. My line keeps hitting the rod on my back cast can get really frustrating.
