  1. I had a big ole nurse pull out a giant swab in front of me this morning. Said she needed a sample from me groin region. Thank god she meant for me to go behind the curtain and do it, it was to check for MRSA, Phew........ .

  6. Not 100% sure, but around the 400 mark i think for day rate. About 1500 for 5 days. We've got a Denka DL28, which covers most of our MEWP work, but it's on a trailer and access off hard areas is pants. So I get something like the above in roughly once a year. .

  9. A few from work; First from a Pop looking north over to Hampstead Garden Suburb. Second from Oak, south towards the city. Third from up in theQuercus x hispanica 'fulhamensis' Last, especially just for the Huck .
  10. Historically and Socially, you are ofcourse quite correct, alas I fear it's probably not the overdue evolution of the working class that is the result of the dirth of skill around which I percieve,It is in my opininion more to do with our societies inability to demand and even produce any thing of a suistainable and patient nature. We do not want to wait for tommorow, which is when nature and true craftsmanship will deliver, we want it today with a reduced pricetag and ergo inferior quality. .
  11. That's absolute slander Dave ! It's actually only TWO stone. To be serious, I gotta agree with your reasoning. When my knee allows it, if I'm honest I do struggle these days when I drag on the old harness .(during and post climb) Muscle sets are totally different on terra ferma, as to the ones you use arborially Thank heavens for Nelly .
  12. Nice shots Kev, glad you took the time. Great stone masonry, what a shame we don't have the same level of crafsmem around as when those piees were created .
  13. Cheers Stevie.

It's a fraction of the photos I've gathered over the last few years, putting them here on the forum is mainly for sharing, but also a way for me to revisit them and keep them fresh in my mind.

Try and check out Marios (mdvaden) web page, he's got some real crackers.

    All the best

    David

  18. You have to remember, us bazillionaire entrepeneurs weren't born with big mullah stuffed in our daipers. The fun days above were way back in the day, before I started taking the big business interests like telecoms, leisure and publishing, seriously .
  19. Gave it bash about twelve year ago. Four of us descended on Buxton for a long weekend, can't remember the club or owt. We stayed in a massive old rectory that the diminuative wiry yorky trainer was living in. He had two ginormous great danes. Like Bob said, these things are totaly at the whim of the weather gods, we only got a couple of flights in. Great laugh had by all though. Excuse the photos, they're pre dig. .
  20. If you haven't already, check out.................. http://www.treesource.co.uk/acatalog/Tree_Health___Disorders.html .

  23. Never seen one. Hericium erinaceus - Satyr's beard; Lion's mane; Hedgehog mushroom; Bearded tooth. Nice find Cutter .
  24. Look, this fishing things not in my blood. I've done a bit of Trout and Salmon fishing with pals up in sunny Scotland. I've also got some horendous memories of a trip off Bradwell......... And Ok, It's still meant to be the biggest participation past time in the UK. Obviously, for you guys this gets all your bells ding'a'linging. But what's this poor deranged fool doing. By the look of it he'd been out all night. WHAT'S THE DRAW ? .
  25. Carl, She's an Alien. What ever you do, DO NOT succumb to her honey like entreaty. This is exactly why there is an number imbalance between the sexes here on planet earth. They are luring away all the fit young men and will bide their time before striking with all their furious anger before invading & conquerring us. .
