  9. Fare point dean. Ifs all going well and works not short then the decision is your own moral judgement.
  10. Anti gravity back pack. Ropes, no longer an issue.
  11. Advise the customer on what he doesnt know or understand, then end up doing what he asked for in the first place. Why, because the customer is always right LOL bollocks. but hey if you dont some one else will. and rent has to be paid food needs to be bought and diesel isnt cheap. Moral's, are we really that sensitive about a customers tree. Grow a set do the job and feed the family.

  13. Ive been told before 3 points of contact when cutting and 2 for climbing H&S Reg's. It gets alittle messy to be honest so that was binned. Your own style suits you. it took me a while before i picked up my own way to do things that worked best for me. you will discover your own way to in time.

Have been reading up the echo for abit and was wondering does anybody have experiance with it. everything thing i have read about this mid range 60-70cc saw sounds better and better everytime. Have echo produced a contender for this range http://www.forestryjournal.co.uk/prodaug09a.htm
  16. Free climb bady YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. 2x40m rope on french prussic with micro pully system for the large stuff, then a 30m yale using the same system either end for smaller usually line work. with my wee dangly sidstrap rapping itself around my bloody feet. Dam that side strap but i love it.
  17. When i was a mechanic the flux capaciter tester was always an easy one for the new lads to fall for. we sent one lad across the road to another garage for it, he didnt appear again for a couple of hours, turned out theyd sent him up the road and thry sent him on again on and so forth lol. he never found it.
  18. LV- if the tree is within 0.8m of the line it is considered the live zone and work should only be carried out under a work permit shutdown. Better safe than sorry when it comes to the lines mate.
