    saw bars

Flipsake i was on pulling on the stihl draw strings nothing serious ment by it just abit of banter. (My) opinion is the husky 346xp as a starter saw, i wouldnt buy anything else. great light saw that can be lugged up a tree with you with no problems. But do the research and find the best saw for yourself. One for you to look at that might surprise is the echo cs 600 have read a few good reports on it. if i can find the links i will post for you.

  5. Was on the Husky Technical Type A but they fell to bits on me. the bum area is terrible. Very thin wearing, 2 pairs destroyed. Now on the Oregon Supercomfort and love them, very flexible and comfterable.
  6. 5'11" 13 stone ripped muscle oooooh yeah. but i dont pose in the gaytimes like mike lol
  7. "a mix of this and ther 5x5 program is enough to turn you into a beast" That is an awsome programe to work to. loved it. 5x5 for 5 wks, 3x3 for 3 wks. Always changing exercise. Good advice. Had some good ganes with it. Throw in a random G.V.T. workout in the middle as well to keep the shock going.
  8. Dorian Yates workout. I have tryed and was pleased with the results, it is intence and should be thrown into 2 week change up plan. never do the same work 2 weeks runing. Bench 1st set 1 rep max, rest 10 secs, then try todo 1 rep at same weight again, shouldnt be able to complete rep. Reduce weight by 10%, say 100 Kg to 90 Kg and reapeat set. do this until you have reduce the weight by 60-70%. Your First time doing this will burn, some good rippage with it. Diet 75% Training 20% Supps 5%Get a decent post and pre workout sorted out. protein and carbs before protein and carbs after to aid recovery. Creatine mono or crea alkaline is a good supp for strenght but watch out for accelerated dehidration while working. But remember its all about diet. 6 days on 1 day cheat. Get on the net and research it all dude, 1 day you might have a body like min. lol
  9. Got myself a T435 a few months back for my own private work, thought id take her into to work to try out on daily usage. First thing was get rid of the 14" bar and fit her with a 12". slight adjustment on the idle and then ready to rock and roll. opinions where that she was very well balanced and LOUD, definitely a screamer, felt a bit flimsy to start with but shes just so light and balanced, keep her sharpe and she cuts like a dream, yes its not up there with the 200T but for the price, I got a good little saw that cuts well. Well worth looking into if your on a budget. Ive no regrets at all. Now does anybody know where i can get her tuined up. exhaust and so on, or even can it be done? Cheers.
  10. Is it happening, are husky and stihl getting a new challenger in the pro saw arena, hearing great things about the dolmar/makita 7900 but what of there 50cc range saws? There price doe's make them a very tempting alternative especially if the reviews keep going the way they are.
  11. Awsome climb, have just started getting into the pole climbing and ill say i thought i was a very fit lad but getting up that pole destroyed me my hats of to you. what sort of times are you looking to get for the novice class?
  12. Have a husky T435 and i am haven problems when shes left to idle. when sitting she idles from 1-5 mins then cuts out, when i dangle her below me up a tree she seems to cut out straight away 4 outa 5 times. Is this just an idle speed problem or?? Any help would be great lads.
  13. Its amazing the patterns you can see from the air. definitely on the 2do list.
  14. !!SOLD!!. cheers lads 346xp with a 15" bar is mine. cheers for the opinions lads. Husky all the way.
  15. The boss man has a 346xp with heaed handles, awsome is all i can say. Now what about the 455 Rancher compared to the 346xp, Am trying to balance cost but with the want of preformance aswell. I use in work a 357xp with an 18" bar and when she's sharpe id trust her to cut through anything without a hicup, but out of my price range sadly.
  16. What size of bar do you recomend. does she pull well with an 18"
  17. Am getting a couple of saws togeather for weekend work and have decided on which TH ill be getting but with the ground saw am unsure. Like the specs on the 346XP and have used it a few times but would like the opinion of the more experianced tree surgeon's, and what would be the equivalent stihl model. Am researching like mad and have chainsaws on the brain but hearing differant opions helps alot.
  18. Awsome. Thats the way to do it, Give a couple of bums some crack and a chain saw say take that tree drown and wait to see the outcome.
  19. Swear this isnt me lol. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLjbO1tyElE&feature=related]YouTube - james the narcoleptic tree cutter[/ame]
  20. Gotta love those yanks. Anybody in the UK modding.
  21. Send me one over and ill be one of the Guinea pigs Nigel. They have priced it well. How much to get it imported do you's think. Tax, USPS charge and Post office charge. Ordered once from the US a thing for the woman it only weighed .5Kg and was charged £30 by the post office.
  22. Good points lads, ebay is tempting due to the price. Any1 using the Husky T435. I know how this is going to end, am going get a few more pound and get a 200T lol. but the wee husky has me interested.
  23. I know what your saying mate but the leather always feels more secure to me. tryed the butterfly for a day and it felt terrible. Gonna see about importing the cougar if not was looking at the Treemagic. looks like it has a good back support know anybody using one.
