  1. That's not a proper test! My old timberwolf 18/100 chipped straight bits of lime as quick as that! How does it do on twisted oak/ wide unions etc? #notjealous
  2. If have thought so, I've got a 461 and it's brilliant on a 25 so the 661 should be fine at 30. You have remembered to sharpen it right?!
  3. I had one, bought it second hand as had to replace stolen saws quickly and cheaply. Did the job but was a bit tired as second hand stuff tends to be! Vibrates screws out so lost a few that held the chai brake handle on and the felling spikes. I'd look at a new one if possible as bigger engine and won't be any chance of it being a bit over worked!

    Tw125ph

They look decent, my dad has an old entec version and runs well if a little slow for my liking (used to diesel ones). The only question I'd ask is are they gonna give it a facelift/redesign to bring it in line with the 230? Seeing how the 125 is basically a petrol 150 it would make sense if the 125 used the same platform
  5. If you've got a bit of down time have a play with editing templates, it's how the professionals do it!
  6. What ones do you use? I haven't tried any in years as they always felt like they were about to fall out. I use peltor optimes if don't need a helmet, or my helmet has helberg ones I believe.
  7. Nokia 105 £15 sim free from Amazon, charge it once a month. Can't see a point in these tough phones!
  8. No I do it myself, a few years back I got a quote for £1000 for a 4 page site, (a bit before these site builder website sprung up) no way could afford that as just starting to do my own stuff and had the time so spent it working out how to do it myself. Everyone else round here has had the same static website for years so I can keep ahead of anyone now 👍🏻 I've redone it 5-6 times now to get it where it is, pay £5 a month to host it and it brings me the majority of new work (with the aid of Adwords etc)
  9. Yeah I pick up a fair bit through it, got a section on the contact page where people can upload photos now so can give an idea of costs before I even quote so know if it's a waste of time going out. Picked up one today of some smallish looking sycamores to come out with stumps for a fence going in, estimated a days work so roughly priced it and they already want it done without me visiting yet! I want to do a bit more on keywords to get higher in some local areas but it does ok
  10. If you've got the time have a play with either Wordpress or html, personally I get on better with html and spent the time learning how to do it so I've got full control and zero bills when I want to change anything and I like to redesign everything every year or so to keep ahead of the competition! I don't see a point in a basic cheap looking website if your looking to portray a quality business in yourself. I get lots of people say I got the call cos loved my website and it makes me £1000's a year from new custom
  11. How computer literate are you and how much time have you got? If you can build or edit a template yourself and have it hosted (I pay £5 a month) then noones got any hold over your site I'd avoid free stuff as its basic and looks it usual and you want a good impression for your customers
  12. I never quite got his humour myself, but really liked Ronnie Barkers stuff. Lots of big losses this year
  13. If you really want to pay attention get google analytics on your site as well, if will show you how many visits your site gets, where they came from etc, for example I had a call yesterday at 8:30am I looked at analytics last night and know the call came from a website visitor and the search term they used (which I am number one for) if someone visits my page from my sig which happens a few times a week I can see the visitor came from arbtalk, see screenshot for what I mean!
  14. The very last email I received was one just flicked through it out of interest and it says 'We have our Basic Package of SEO which called “Winner” would be $149 per month for 10 keywords. Contract period would be minimum 6 months.' Are people mad? $900 for them to add ten words to a website for you?!
  15. I wish someone would tell that lot from India that email me all day every day wanting to get me on the first page of Google!

    New saw

The old ones weren't up to much then they bought out the t540xp and stihl did the 201, the stihl was awful underpowered lump, even my stihl dealer told me not to get one so i went with husky! Newer stihls supposed to be decent but haven't used one so can't comment

    New saw

    Rocking a husky here, sorry!!

    New saw

Fair enough, I'm the same but find myself a bit more in the stihl camp at the mo, had all husky until just got the ms461 after having a 365. It did the job but didn't gel with it (granted it was used when I got it and a bit tired) found it kept vibrating screws out as well, had some trees to drop and ring up and just didn't want to use it!!

    New saw

They sold out out ms461's? 😉
  20. How? The few hundred on arbsafe that are searchable vs the 1000's and 1000's of stolen tools that you'd have no way of checking to my knowledge?
  21. I'll message the guy see if still got the tw150 if you like. I know it's been owned from new and very tidy
  22. They get good reviews, not too sure on them myself due to knowing people who've not got on with the 150 version. I'd say diesel 35hp would prob be better long term
