  1. Needs some editing, for a second at the end it almost looks like you used a 201 while your feet were touching the ground! 😉
  2. What chain oil are you using out of curiosity?
  3. Quick update to this thread, the sugi died! The tip gave up after exactly a year. To be fair I never greased it. I'm giving the slightly cheaper version a go until the new non grease required husky bar is available for the 540
  4. Right who wants to buy my chipper, I want one of these!!
  5. Reading the opening to your website I have no idea what you do! Needs work! It says bluestone sales and about good service etc but not if you sell or do anything? You need to go down quite a way until get the info that you do trees (not sure why you're called sales?)
  6. Yeah the search does suck somewhat!
  7. Lsengineers have most bits listed
  8. No one really needs an 88 these days for domestic stuff. My biggest saw is a 461 on a 25 inch bar and can't see why I'd need bigger and you can buy one for approx 2-3 days takings. So i'd be inclined to agree saws should be bought if needed.
  9. I'd say go with a stihl km94r combo unit with hedgecutter attachment. Gives you the option of using it as a strimmer as well if you're doing grass cutting
  10. Won't be cheap. When I got mine I needed to do the top roller bearing, but also the shaft as it was well worn. I think the bits alone were over £200 then there's labour if can't do it yourself
  11. What would the lead time be? For example if the chipper went bang could you get us one the next day?
  12. What is the anvil like? Mines pretty dull so needs replacing and is pretty stringy at the mo
  13. Yeah in our line of work a chainsaw or whatever for £200 then PayPal should (but probably won't!) have you covered. £5k for a chipper by bank transfer without seeing it? Stupidity When I bought my chipper I googled the guy, the address, phone number, company house to make sure it was a legit seller before I turned up and looked it over before I parted with a penny. Why would you do it any other way?

    Tiny echo!

Thanks, I had an echo top handle a few years ago, forget he model number but had same side handle which I liked, wasn't overly keen on the build though. Gonna be buying one of these smaller saws when passing a dealer, most likely the stihl, but the echo keeps making me look!

    Tiny echo!

Have you tried the stihl 150?
  16. I do wonder why people fall for these scams. Why transfer all that money to someone on the promise it'll be shipped or deposit on something you've never seen that happens to be in Outer Mongolia. Or am I missing something?
  17. Turn the key to this position and the glow plus light comes on, hold it there a few seconds before you fire it up (it is lit here but bit hard to see)
  18. It's true, my transit weighed exactly 3.5 tonnes here because it said that's what the loaded weight is on log book
  19. Lol sorry, read the thread back, was referring to the pb one, I didn't look at your username so thought we on about the same website, esp when you look at the screenshot I posted! Yours is fine on my phone too 👍🏻
  20. Does it look the same as my screenshot?
  21. That's an iPhone screenshot but it'll take a bit more than an adjustment, I do my own sites and they need to be built on a framework to begin with that allows adjustment between all size screens from desktop to mobile screen and everything inbetween! Will most likely need to start over but Google penalises sites that aren't mobile optimised and customers may click the back button if they can't read the site easily
  22. It comes up but looks like this.. Which is unreadable without zooming, compared to mine which changes its layout and font size by detecting the size of the screen that you're using, like this..
  23. If it's a van it will anyway, loads of break ins recently around here. Was getting into my transit a few days ago when a car pulled up to tell me they saw people looking through the windows of it around midnight. Don't keep tools in there obviously (apart from basic tool box/socket set)
  24. I thought that, looks a bit cluttered/American early 2000's type website. Needs to be mobile optimised as well
  25. If you can afford it then you don't need it cos you aren't doing tree work!
