  1. Same as that my t540 lasted a year till the sprocket gave up but it's never been touched
  2. Nah if you've got the time I say the opposite, it's a great skill to have in this Internet age
  3. Agreed, check reviews etc before buying anything
  4. Looks great, any idea of the total cost out of interest? Would love to do one myself one of these days
  5. Head to http://www.themeforest.net and check out the Wordpress templates on there. They take a bit of getting your head around though as a bit more involved than the free ones but much better results
  6. Had the hubcaps stolen off my transit, couldn't see why, they were scuffed and you can buy new ones for £20. Some people just have to steal
  7. Still got a hole in my garage roof from the last time they broke into mine last year. No point repairing it as they'll only smash it again to see if anything is in there (there's not for any scum reading this!)
  8. Can you shut up! I'm years behind and only just watched the first 4 episodes of season 1!

    Tiny echo!

That's nuts! Stihl bar and chain when I need a new chain then

Gonna wait and see what the sugi bar is like before I switch I think, modding bars or sourcing chains with extra links sounds a bit of a pain?
  11. Have to admit I read the post and thought the same thing. Sorry for the loss though had it myself and it's a kick in the teeth
  12. Nah you'll never get that. Thing with bad service is people remember, I remember going in a pub I was a regular at about 15 years ago and the landlady served me without smiling or saying a single word apart from the price
  13. Had the opposite enough times where, and I'm not racist, some of the shop workers/petrol station workers jabber away on the phone in another language and barely acknowledge you. I find that really unprofessional

    Tiny echo!

Yeah I'm loving it today. Christened it on a plum take down, branches up to as thick as your wrist it's no slower than my husky 540. A bit slower but perfectly capable of bigger stuff. Imagine it would fly on a better chain. Really makes the bigger saws feel like lead after only using it for 30 minutes today
  15. Decent templates aren't though! Some free ones available though to see how it works

Nice vid then! Yeah noticed that about the switch, thought it would auto return looking at pics of the saw. find it odd that some stuff isn't always on these days, so much easier

    Tiny echo!

Thought I'd just do it as left it on my t540xp and was hard to get the screw out to remove it after it had been used for a few months.

    Tiny echo!

I trust the guys on here who've removed it and noticed more power. I've put the screw back in to stop it melting the cover

Nice vids, looks very capable. Just removed the spark arrester from mine and packed it back up before the wife gets home and starts asking questions!

Don't know what you lot are talking about! It's 5 times heavier than the stihl! Have to say I'm very impressed with the feel of the saw, it really feels a quality product, thought it would feel a lot more flimsy than it does. Looking forward to firing it up tomorrow
  21. Sounds slightly fishy, £2000 a month on Adwords!!? And the guy in first place has no reviews and not even a website and your company is called what you typed into Google!

    Tiny echo!

Not according to this email and I read that post as meaning the echo 260 (earlier model) There's also a vid linked in the email that doesn't mention drilling also one put up yesterday but is Spanish or similar so can't tell but looks like goes straight on

I gather the stihl bar will fit directly onto the echo and the echo comes with a 1/4 sprocket so no need to change that so the only real cost if you switch is around £27 for a bar plus the chain (think from the rob d email the chain needs one more link?) I'm gonna run mine standard for the life of the first chain and buy the stihl bar if I feel it needs it
  24. 123 reg? Don't!! They deleted most their customers websites a few weeks ago http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36072240
  25. I'd think it would work the opposite? If you've got a big tree to work on and it's a full day and the weather isn't up for it you'd need to move that job back to a clear spot that could be a few weeks? And equally find another job or two to move forwards to that day? Sounds like more stress! Personally I really hate changing jobs on customers, it's the hardest phone call I make as feel like letting them down, so much prefer to be as certain as I can to do something when I say I can Works with jobs that go over as well, this Friday ill have to go back to a job I did last Friday as part of it was cutting a limb back that's over an outbuilding, I felt was too gusty but would have had to do it if was already booked in all of this week coming. Flexibility is key for me
