  1. I would be if have any spare cash! Great day to invest
  2. Nothing is sexy about her now she weighs less than my four year old and that massive bruise of a tattoo on her back!
  3. I'm about halfway through my first 25l drum and no problems at all, will stick with it for the price 👍🏻
  4. A bit of everything, no magic bullet or everyone would do the same. I'm in 3 local mags, website, sign writing on transit, Adwords when quiet and have a company deliver leaflets when needs be and all of that is required to keep us working. Hopefully a few more years will mean I can drop back a bit on all that as get more regular/ repeat customers. Just starting to feel these jobs make a bit of a difference after around 2 years of going on my own
  5. Looks good but at £500+ for a works phone.. I'll stick with my £15 Nokia

Yeah buy a 2510 if you can find someone who'll still sell you one and give it straight back, bumps you to the top of the queue 😉

It obviously won't be as good as the 2510 or they wouldn't have replaced the 280 with the 2510 in the first place. As long as does the job and can put a shift in without bother it's gotta be worth the £120 though

Nice, hopefully will get mine in next few days as the 2510 is on its way back

I get as much done from the one position then turn the saw off while moving. Don't fancy a running chainsaw attached to me that I've not got hands on!

I just levitate a foot off the ground and start it up give it a few revs to warm it then off until it's required up the tree. Don't even like it ticking over when hanging on the strop as paranoid something will make it rev up when pulling it past my legs

Why on earth would you leave a saw ticking over whilst clipped onto your harness?
  12. I think I get a more than that, but don't sharpen them after every stump, just when feel dull or can see them rounding off. I'll be needing my fourth set in two years very soon to give an indication of how often I'm going through sets
  13. Think the manual is the same as mine as has that. Thought about getting a bench grinder but haven't got anywhere with power to put one so would have to do it in the garden but don't want those particles around where the kids play
  14. No mine has 12 individual teeth. I just keep touching them up with a diamond disc on an angle grinder until they're a pain to get an edge on then buy a new set
  15. If it's the quadrablade system you'll have 4 sections each with 3 teeth
  16. Yeah think it's pretty much identical to those but think had different teeth? Doesn't the praxis use the quadrablade setup?
  17. Yeah mines two years old now and always starts straight away. Brilliant money earner for the outlay
  18. As soon as you switch off something else pops into your head. A couple of years ago, Xmas eve 10:30pm just got into bed and my brain decided to remind me about some ivy I said I'd pick up for a customer two weeks beforehand!

I agree, not overly impressed looking at the 280 specs but will take one and keep it as then 2 saws averaging £240 each is a good deal imo
  20. Phone timberwolf with the serial number, the police once stopped me and did that to check mine wasn't stolen

They do get v hot, but to be fair any exhaust would set fire to dry moss!
