  1. Would be good to see some vids of it in action if you get the time
  2. this Jensen. Think its a bit smaller than usual as its a fairly rare 750kg one. Pretty quick so it only does an hour or so a day on average
  3. Yeah sounds similar. Mines a 12 litre tank and gets me right around 3 hours
  4. How many litres per hour would you say it used? Been monitoring my chipper and it's right around 4 litres of diesel an hour
  5. No idea. Haven't used a pillar drill since leaving school. Don't really want to spend out on a dedicated one just for the odd tooth.
  6. I haven't currently got a pillar drill or bench grinder so just looking and saw this on eBay for £12, got a decent makita drill. Anyone think this will or won't work?
  7. Any chance of a photo of your setup? I'm building up a healthy stock of used Greenteeth, not been that fussed about sharpening them as cheap enough from qrms but if it's easy enough I might as we
  8. All insurance companies put the price up every single year, you simply get another quote which is invariably lower and they match it or you move. £50 is quite low, they usually double the premium in my experience
  9. depends what you want, the timberwolf is a proper tow behind and can direct the chute any angle and has a good throw. cs100 you've only got 3 directions to send the stuff, no idea about the throw but assume its decent but not as high? and you'll need a trailer to move it about on, then there's the security of someone picking it up and having it away if its at the front of a house while you're in the bank. The timberwolf you can lock onto the van and have a wheel clamp to slow them down
  10. Not too sure how to link from the Facebook app so screenshot them for you, if you look on those groups should find them. Let us know how you get on
  11. I had the timberwolf, good chipper but I wouldn't pay that much for a new one, id get a roller fed machine like the 160 if on a budget and wanted a new chipper. There's a few second hand ones about, seen 2 this week for bout the 2.5k mark
  12. I read that this morning and commented on the timberwolf facebook page linking to this about when they are switching. It says they can supply current engines until 2020 or 2019 so i'm a bit confused to when i'd need to order a 230 if wanted a new diesel one. Anyone got a clue?
  13. Fun one from yesterday. Had to get it at least a foot underground too. Think it's the biggest stump I've tackled so far
  14. I think the sea is the best place for him tbh. Wouldn't have wasted time and a gas bill cremating him. I'd have thrown him on the back of the transit and tipped him off and let the fish have him
  15. Yeah I'm tempted to trade mine in for a 230 next year while there's still the option of a diesel engine. Although just bought a new set of wheels so it'll prob look too smart tomorrow and I'll change my mind
  16. Fair enough, I keep a spare one with.me now just incase. Did have a bit of luck with parts for once this week. The sensor to let the engine start only when bonnet is down packed up as got full of water. Found someone on eBay selling 2 new old stock ones to clear them for £20 delivered! Guarantee it would be £100+ from a dealer!
  17. Is that a homemade cable to have those d clamps? Had a lifting place make me the one on mine when it snapped in middle of a job
  18. No idea about which would have more power, this is mine, quite chunky. Yours looks a better design as the cable breaks on these every few years
  19. I see. I'd have guessed that's a redesign rather than a weight save as was thinking about it and one spring wouldn't make any difference really? Mines the one spring horizontal and a wire to the roller type
  20. Mines the 750kg version and one spring so could be. Can't see how you'd get 2 springs on it though as it's all inline
  21. Brilliant machine, had a look at one a friend recently bought. Would love one but bit big for my purposes at at mo
  22. I did mine when was replacing the bottom roller bearing anyway. Next time will buy a Dremel
  23. Dremel maybe, haven't tried one, angle grinder I have, couldn't get the right angle while on the chipper, need to come out really
