  8. We've just started doing work for Balfour Beatty who now prioritise local firms. Think it's a great idea and means that local small contractors get a look in. A step in the right direction. Council tree work always seems more hassle than its worth. Let the firm spend all there profits on diesel and there staff get peeved with 2 hours commuting every day.
  9. You seem to be venting some beef, a interesting tread about timber haulage, your vendetta against someone clearly very knowledgable as proven with photos and in depth contributions to many threads isn't

  14. Chewed this thread over deeper than I normally would any other thread last night Spoke to my subby lad today who is on 3 - 4 days a week and asked how his tax return was doing. He's crap with money and a bit simple but told me hes going to declare bankrucy soon so won't need to pay it. Told him he'll have work again when he brings me a copy of his completed paid tax return. I don't think tax dogging is cool,

  24. I always find the problem with the tranny on mud is the diff and that you always only have one wheel spinning, I reckon a diff locker would be easy and help a bit, I often consider it when spending hours stuck on tiny strips of grass in the van, then forget once i've been towed out
