  1. Anybody?
  2. Does anyone know of a green waste site near gravesend kent? The sort where I can pay on the weigh bridge. Google is not throwing much up Thanks James x
  3. Looks good I love my 230 but looks like the wrong chipper for that application
  4. I have a tiger grip from approved, with mini diggers it's hard to turn branches horizontal but with a fixed grab you can turn them vertical with out hitting cab. Better for working in tight spots, also you can rake branches and really dive the grab into a bundle of brash. That makes sense to me [ame] [/ame]
  5. On the grab front I'd go for fixed rather than a floppy one,me think Rico ones are floppy, 1.8 is a nice size
  6. Apex Plant Hire | Excavator Hire | Plant Haulage Services They have jcb skid steers
  7. I personally think 12 inch chippers are a bit over kill less you have something to load them with. My digger and bandit I can chip absolutely masses of brash and with the grab being quite tough i can pre break forks and awkward branches. With human power alone there not great. I filled a walking floor in 2 days the other week with bandit and digger, the only time anyone got a sweat on is when I left my heated seat on to high
  8. Core that's a lovely cherry pollard will have to give you a ring

  13. I highly rate Approved, we had a problem with our grab and they were very quick to getting it resolved
  14. Sorry I was thinking of vermeer type thing did't realise avant
  15. Thats interesting, I think as I only had red CPCS thats why I have to do the big job renew with the NVQ I never really thought about FMOC, i think that would be hard to wash on construction sites, would the FC not let me use Nport/CPCS for timber duties then?
  16. I have a expired Cpcs 360 ticket. To renew it I would need to do a full day of classroom training. A practical test and naughty boys test as I didn't renew within the two years. All in all 2 days of my life and £1,400. I really hate citbs mob like racket they run on constructions sites. It's even more annoying as I rarely get asked for my ticket as we are usually advanced works before the safety mob arrives. I've been getting away with my expired ticket through a combination of charm and good looks but these are fading so I need to renew. Npors will only cost me £400 odd quid and I can be tested at my own site. The card still has the cscs sticker on it, and the testers I spoke to seemed reasonable. Has anybody done npors and had problems with getting on site and is it recognised by the Forestry commission?
