  5. Back in 2006/7 there was a case between covile vs finch regarding a apple tree growing over a neighbours conservatory in a witch had made the conservatory roof dirty and clogged the guttering. The owner of the tree was fined £650- £350 for the repair £220 cleaning £80 court cost. The judge made it quite clear that the owner of the tree is responsible for the tree and the damage it causes and the mess it leaves behind from fruit to leaves to root. 7. Skyhuck is right the law states that if the said tree is infringing on ones boundary and the owner of said tree dose not control the growth then the other person can have the tree pruned back to boundary mark and the tree owner is not responsible for the waste and by law cannot be left on his property. 13. On saturday i was on a conifer reduction and managed to sell the wood for £45 to the locals who came out the wood work as soon as we started the job. And it was amusing to see them load it in to wheelie bins. It was like a pack of wolfs who could cram the most in to a bin. Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

  17. Today has been a day of mixed feelings. First thing this morning i found out that my dad had passed away in his sleep. But his death gave me hope in that shortly after lunch I received a phone call from network rail confirming that I have won the contracts on 9 of there car park redevelopment in witch I have all the tree work. I've never been a believer but karma has defiantly thrown a spanner in the works. So as I sit hear in my back garden in front of the fire I say thanks dad for all you have done and the help you have given me from raising me and from saving my arse when I fed my chipper a lump of steel and you staying up all to the crack of dawn repairing my chipper for work the next day and for showing me that when all that seams lost you just take a step back smile and face it head on. Cheers dad R.I.P. A true legend

When the timber is in the bottom of the river it pulls in the minerals from the silt and that gives it a distinctive look when you cut it.
