  1. there is a lot of eastern Europeans in my area well its the biggest area of migrant works in east Anglia and is up there for the the whole uk they do all sorts of jobs they are a few that do land / farm work factory work some are builders and they even in the pub trade have they own night clubs and cafe's they is a grupe that gos around my area taking trees down they knocked on the door of a customer of mine and ask if she would like her 12-14m sycamore taken down for 30 pound i can say she never said yes but go's to show they work for less money than us and will work hard and is going to try there hand at every trade they can

  3. i only every had a saw repair once and will never pay for a repair i cant to my self that was a ms180c oilier never quite work right so decided to have a new one fitted was 35 pound to strip the saw down 60 pound for part and a further 35pound for re assemble so coast 130pound to fix a saw that was only 170pound when i bought it new and the saw still never oil right all my other saws are echo and have never had the need for any repair or tinker with so i chave chose to buy new than rahter have a dealer repair due to the fact that time wasting as i can buy a new say and sright back to work and it wont be that much more than the repair
  4. i live in Peterborough and can tell you the council neglects everything and spend money on it when stuff really needs doing
  5. if customer ask for logs to be left behind i will ask what length to be cut to and most will say around 9 to 12 inch then i ask where to stack it if they dont ask all wood get on the back of the truck

  10. yes it wont be worth all the agro and expense just to carry about 400kg more legally than my transit at the moment
  11. if i have to do the test then i would need a operators licenses services checks every so often trough the year the same as a over HGV like 7.5 ton lorry's do and i cant be doing with all the extra work like tacho records driver records the expensive insurance for the HGV the down time of these services and all the other agro that comes with a HGV classed truck
  12. i have bought a iveco daily crew cab tipper a week ago and i thought it was a 3.5ton since getting it back i found out that its a 4.6ton truck and at only 24 and having the basic driving license i cant drive it i under stand that it can be down rated/ down grade to 3.5ton but to to do this i need at lest 750kg pay load but the truck with me as driver weighs in at 3120kg empty so some how i need to shave of 370kg some how to do this no idea what to get rid off to get me down to about 2750kg or would i be able to change the v5 logbook to change it from HGV to forestry/agriculture vehicle would that mean i would be able to use the truck for work driving it on the road and would the weight still matter if no how would i go on about changing the classification from HGV TO AGRI/FORESTRY pro and cons anyone ?
  13. theft from the truck to day i left the tuck unlocked while working in the rear garden when between the times of 9 and 12 i had taken a stihl ms170 and a ryobi blower its quite a unique blower do to the blowing nozzle on being 6inch long and the whole blower is red and black wich is not ryobi colour they both marked with smart water a the house next door did see a white van next to mine and speed off this happen in moulton chapel near splading and peterborough if any one here anything or get offed let me know i was lucky that i had all the other stuff with me in the back garden police is on the ball and cam out with in 15 minutes of i reporting it and are stopping white van in that are due to 2 burglarys in that area with same description
  14. petrol remove sap quick so do and hand full of sugar with a little warm water rubbing the sugar in so do wd40 but its out to you to use it on your climbing gear

  19. my friend is looking to buy some hydraulic to renew for his digger 3 lorry mounted cranes a loading shovel and his mini tele handler and tractor he is looking to buy about 20 gallon so where ans what cost do you get yours from
  20. the place is the main agent in east Anglia for oleo-mac did ask about parts and they said they carry most needed parts in stock and they sell the efco's as well but the same mt8200 is about 70 pound more money but there info ticket did say 3 years warranty
  21. the saw is a oleo-mac 981 its a 80.7cc 5.7hp engine it comes with a 25inch bar and chain 3/8 x058" 6.8kg the saw is Italian made and have been offer one new for £589 and will get a 6% discount all in with the vat £553.66 sounds a good deal for a saw that cost smiler money to s stihl ms362 or a husky XPG560

  24. all i can add to this as i live in the east Anglia region i will keep my eye out as i have seen a few rough looking ash tree's looks like its begun hopefully the spread will be limited as there are some huge ash tree around my way and will be said to see them gone on the plus side it may give me some extra work in these tough times
  25. i have a echo CS330T its the USA model have had it just over 6 years haven't needed any parts for the saw i did accidentally drop it from about 25 foot onto hard concrete paving it landed belly flat and didn't brake or crack the plastic it haves the petrol and oil caps up front right next together haven't bother me one bit seems to last ages on a tank of petrol new and with shipping back from the states posted 170 pounds the only fault i can say is its on a 14inch bar which should been IMO should have been a 10 -12inch bar lukesmith /hedgecutterman on here have used the saw and he seem to like it oh and over half my equipment is echo im bit of a fan echo are mega cheep in the usa and i tempted to get one the cs355t
