  1. Anyone got any advice on subletting a rented commercial property, there is a property (semidetached house) that was last a dental surgery. I don't need the building, just the bit that was the car park. I dont want to ask the agent without knowing a bit about how it works.
  2. I may be wrong but Khan called a meeting with Dick, it was Dick's duty to tell Patel the meeting was called. She chose to fall on her sword instead. So I might have been a bit quick off the mark but if protocol had been followed the Home Secretary would have been aware, But Dick obviously didn't fancy that.
  3. If Russia get stuck into Ukraine (which I don't think/hope they will) we will have to get involved and Sanction them, then the brown stuff will hit the spiny round thing. How long is 'fast tracking'?
  4. Ya reckon he'd pull that stunt without consulting Patel, Johnson et al? These people speak to each other in a civilised way behind the scenes. I don't think he could pull it off on his own, no conspiracy, I just don't thinks it's possible. Wasn't Dicks contract extended by two years just recently which Khan backed?
  5. That must be a extremely tall building, or those trees are nowhere near 60'.
  6. Call PH Pumps and ask for Gary in the workshop, if he can't sort it he'll know who can.
  7. Is on her way then, Khan seems to be the scapegoat, but did he run it by Patel first is my question.
  8. Learnt something again.
  9. I didn't know there was a fixed time, @AHPP didn't that site opposite your parents place get a 07:30 start through the week and 08:O0 start on a weekend when the groundworkers were in?
  10. When I lived in bricks my nextdoor neighbours sons were tree surgeons the older one bought a TW when he first started, being green he didn't check it out. It was only when he tried to chop it in for a new chipper he found out it was nicked. Costly mistake.
  11. No, but I'm trying other herbs.
  12. The hand that plays me up the most I smashed up at work about 15 years ago, the cold weather always brings the pain on.
  13. Im not going to name him, but chasing work to keep the lads going. Poor business.
  14. Years back I bought kindling off a member here, he had what was basically a flywheel that was powered by an electric motor, it was lethal, but he cut a fair amount of kindling with it, how he kept his fingers is a miracle.
  15. I understand where you are coming from and due to the way I live I have to watch how I use energy, what do folks do when it's raining and the kids school uniform needs washing and drying for the morning? Life for some folk isn't as easy as you make it sound.
  16. Pens and the likes, what else you thought I meant is beyond me...
  17. Dr Bullman, thanks for the advice. I'll take this forward with me. Being serious, I can hold a mug, trying to hold something small is the problem...
  18. I've not looked at it yet, what with my busy schedule n all. Why is it band?
  19. Les you know it isn't that easy, I'm not trying to put a downer on it but come up against a big job/tree and it's easily fecked up... on day three of what you thought was a 2 day job you are on the phone pushing other work back whilst paying contractors/ staff another days money. You need to know what you are doing to price a job, even with years of experience we all still get it wrong from time to time
  20. Thank ya, I'll look into Borax.
  21. I can understand why people use tumble dryers, peoples life's are busy and they need to get things done in a rush, fortunately I don't fall into that category.
  22. That also make sense, me mum had a manual job. A job that's not done by women these days. I guess I'll never know if it's hereditary.
  23. After having a good read about arthritis it seems it can be hereditary which makes a little sense, my old girl had it. That's just my luck!
  24. Dunno then, but if you get your pricing wrong (we've all done it) it's going to cost you money.
  25. Mine would be outside but my brother beat me to the washing line, so it's on a clothes horse in his conservatory.
