  1. Ask driver for details. All work guaranteed.
  2. Trig, you're going to have to trust me on this one. Pikies come in all shapes and sizes, pretty much like the rest of us.
  3. No it's not, he's not a pikey, we all know what pikeys look like, right?
  4. What have you got to back that statement up? I wasn't knocking the fella for putting a days work in, it just looks stupendous all piled on the roof rack. Push the chipper in the van and tow a trailer.
  5. Under one of those arches used to be a nightclub called The Zone, used to go there most weekends.
  6. There's a village just up the road from where I used to live called Eight Ash Green, the storm of '87 did away with some of 'em yet the name remains. Progressive... not.
  7. What they going to call it now?
  8. This is only word on the street, it was bought to be developed, didn't get passed then all of a sudden it went up in flames. Don't know if that's right or not. Edit: T'was one of the best pubs in Burslem.
  9. What was the Leopard in Boslum.
  10. Is that right? I'm not joking this time mate, I'm going a mooch up there next to go to the shop, I'll get some pictures
  11. Road closed near our kids place, a pub was burnt out a few months back. Allegedly, it's about to go over in the wind.
  12. I used to pass this tree most days, it wasn't at it's best years ago.
  13. All the bumph and pictures tells you harvested water will work in washing machines. Give it a whirl, let us know how you get on.
  14. The burden of owning land I guess.
  15. Does your land have footpaths, RoW on it?
  16. In the short term I can't see it getting any better, once the sewage works is maxed out it's got to go to watercourses or it's in people's gardens, or even worse, indoors. They were meant to be emergency overflows in storm conditions where the foul was so diluted by the time it gets to the watercourse it doesn't have as big an impact. Now they are the norm.
  17. Can't help on the rules, I'd imagine few or none for domestic Wells. I'd take a sample to a Lab and see what's in there before spending any money.
  18. I've only ever done the one, on paper they look good, they have a filter system in the chamber which I cleaned out, the water was still green after running an outside tap for 24 hours. Until I needed parts for that one I didn't realise that whatever they are badged with most of them are manufactured by Kingspan, the insulation company.
  19. It's getting windy out there.
  20. You're going mad mate, he didn't have sex with her and there were no party's in Downing St during lockdown. When will you get this stuff in your head?
  21. I repaired a rainwater harvesting plant on a domestic property a few years back, a few days later the customer was on the phone complaining about the green water in the toilets as if it was my fault! I asked him if the water was clear before it broke down, he'd only moved in recently and it wasn't working when he moved in. I went back, turned the plant off and put them back on mains supply, that was a swift £600 to repair something that was then only going to be used to water the garden.
  22. Blowing a good'un here, no rain yet.
  23. I'm no great fan of O'B either. He nailed it today mind, when he said, Andrew was part of a sex trafficking ring, indirectly, or not. None of us will ever be able to prove it though.
  24. Maybe in America, or for the rich and wealthy. Electing trial from the Magistrates in this country takes some sweating.
  25. Post a picture of your last statement/bill, let's have a look at it.
