  1. I Don't normally brag about going to expensive places but this morning I went to the petrol station.
  2. Have this for context, hundreds turned up at Calais to get over here, they were told to go to Paris to get their papers sorted... only a 600km round journey when they've been tramping for days on end.
  3. "that you earn"! It's HMRC. Ffs, trig.
  4. "Most obvious", sort of says it all.
  5. yes balanced bashing is in order, problem is most of you don't do balanced bashing. You tend to be dyed in the wool.... you won't admit that mind. Most already know who they will vote for in the next GE.
  6. If you don't sell it I'll give you £3k cash, cheeky bid but that's where I'm at.
  7. Spin bowling had all but died out when Warne showed up, he transformed the game. He hated England with a passion when he was bowling.
  8. No I'm not talking of one specific place, come here and walk the centres of Stoke, Derby or Nottingham (for example) at night, your mind would soon be changed. unfortunately it seems only the intelligent emigrate, leaving the hard of thinking and seeing behind.
  9. Which bit of "not the worst place" I've been did you misunderstand?
  10. Ya pair of planks, get about and see the country, it's a shithole in places. Admittedly not the worst place I've been but I'd like to see you hard men walking the streets at night.
  11. I can just about remember when there was some young go getters around this parish.
  12. Go on then.
  13. "As good as it gets", that's grim again. Facr, but grim.
  14. I walked the cut this morning with a friends GS pup, I must remember to get some photos.
  15. That's a grim thought.
  16. We need to give them time to get their money out, dear boy. That said some Labour MP's have had a fair touch off Russian oligarchs.
  17. Legend on the field, one of the best kidoligists (sp) of the modern day.
  18. I can only presume it's nonsense, replace any cover and frame for 57 quid! A 10 ton cover would cost more than that to buy. Even if it's labour only it's a pair of hours.
  19. ... It was just the tree industry, well, if this is right the arse has fallen out of the Crap game.
  20. You're a mine of information mate...
  21. Thank ya, another school day.
  22. I'll have to ask, what's beat up?
  23. If that's how it is now, that's how it is, though I can't see how any water authority can tell folk what to do with their own property. Your side of the meter/stopcock is your responsibility, or are they saying they take responsibility for your water main right into the building now?
  24. Unless things have changed, it's got nothing to do with the water authority how deep, or where you lay the pipe, as long as your side of meter is on your property.
  25. I didn't think anyone was.
