Yes I've got one, and it works well. Some are better than others (all around the same money). There is a FB page called, Chinese Diesel Heaters UK, they've a section called, tried and tested. It's worth a read if you are thinking about getting a cheap diesel heater. I run mine on heating oil.

Not really, a boat sold through a broker is classed as a private sale between the owner and buyer. Brokers just match the buyer and seller, and take the commission.

Due to the surveyor being ill the survey wasn’t carried out until yesterday, it needs a rake of money spending on it. I’ve not got the full report yet but the surveyor advised me to look elsewhere. Nearly £600 short and no further forward. I’d rather that than buy a lemon mind.

I’m not sure how it drifted into the jokes thread, the jist is she asked some woman of colour where she came from, she replied, Hackney, Which didn’t seem to be the answer she wanted, so she repeated the question several times. Strange, when I lived in East Anglia people asked me many times where I came from… I never felt offended.

I think Lady whoever she is should have been briefed on the sort of person she was dealing with, we all know that some people are aching to play the race card, and the old girl walked right into it. I used to work with a fella of couloir on the motorways, where fools, regardless of colour aren’t suffered gladly. If he was in for a bollocking it was always because he was black. He couldn’t accept that we all got roasted it we got it wrong. It was like watching Ali G at times.

I don’t think it saved me from anything, it helped me to understand business better, I read posts, by folk who seemed to know the score and researched what they said, some of the advice I ditched straight off, other advice I took on board. I guess that’s means I think it’s been a positive for me. That’s without forgetting what I’ve learnt about climbing from Bolam.
