  1. Yet you have called me out by saying you don’t believe me, scroll back, it’s all there for people to see. I’ll await your return and what you pay in UK tax.
  2. Show us yours from 31/10/2022, let’s get an idea where you pay your tax that you keep on moaning about. You could always post up last years if that’s easier.
  3. Post up this years tax return, and I’ll match you. Not interested in what you earned, let’s see what you paid to the UK Government.
  4. Fair play, I was talking about higher earners who pay the majority of their tax in the UK, not scrubbers that moan and complain about the place when they pay none, or little tax here.
  5. Ok, but your tax affairs aren’t in the Uk, those who do earn your sort of money here will be paying more.
  6. You say, good grief, I say you’ll pay for it. I won’t, but you’ll pay for it if you like it or not. We can’t afford to tax everyone the same amount, if you are a high end earner you are going to have to pay more, even conservatives have seen this.
  7. We will all still push barrows, load skips, and pull our bollox off to get a living, loaders don’t always go where we need them. At 45, and educated, I’d give it a miss if I had my time again. But I’m sure I’m the argumentative one.
  8. Craic on, I’m sure at 45 there is easier work.
  9. Classic.
  10. Do you really want to get into manual graft at 45, it’s not old by any stretch, but I notice it these days.
  11. I seem to attract these people.
  12. I quite like the idea, I keep all the money I earn and lookout for myself, have to get healthcare insurance, I could live with that. I still think many would struggle though. I don’t know the answer.
  13. I gave it a quick glance yesterday, I’ll watch it properly this afternoon.
  14. You are one of the more lucky/educated ones, on the whole people in the UK don’t earn your kind of money. I’ll do what I do, and you’ll do what you do. Are you emigrating like our kid, or are you staying like I am?
  15. I think you, like I, will be suffering it at the next GE. Then we will see what happens.
  16. Nope, the Tory’s have us in this situation, 12 years isn’t quite a live time, but it’s enough to get me, a middle earner, and you an high end earner into a state neither of us want. Would Labour have done anything better, I doubt it, but I’m no fan of them either.
  17. The Toon Army might disagree.
  18. Wait till you get there.
  19. That’s why it wasn’t for me, there’s more money in site work, but that’s also shite. My life, I was only repeating something I was listening to on the wireless.
  20. Which side is a piss take?
  21. Why would you presume what I’ve said isn’t true?
  22. Don’t talk like a tw@t, I’ve always spoke out for good wages to attract people into manual work. Show me once where I haven’t. I think people about this parish will tell you differently.
  23. No, you are. I’m talking about people in their fifties leaving their workplace for good. You, and you only brought specific trades into the conversation, I just followed it up.
  24. Don’t talk like a tw@t, I’ve saved/invested what money I’ve earned, and hopefully it will pay back. How have you invested your hard earned money?
  25. You presume way to much.
