    The thread don't need closing! I think I know what you are getting at. If I was paying a Oner a day for "basic" labour I would expect whoever I was paying to earn their dough. Ya just need to word things a bit differently.

    I spoke to a mate of mine today about this, he employs eight lads. His first comment was, half of my lot don't even walk at a decent pace. His next comment was he'd get knocked out for even suggesting running. Made me smile.

    I've only got a small insight in to the young lad thing through other companies I do some work for. One company had a young lad on for them who was bang on the button, show him what to do and he could do it, only problem was he could not get out of bed in the morning! So he got the DCM. The other young lad was next door to useless. Although it seems like something has clicked with him just recently and he's coming along well know.
