  1. Not my style Les, oh, I forgot the demanding money with menaces, that along with the assault would pretty much guarantee a custodial sentence.
  2. I think M has got three options: 1, do nothing. 2, report it to the police... if B thinks the old bill would do anything about M working while he's claiming benefits he is kidding himself- they would only be interested in the assault. 3, M gets his mates together and goes round to give B the hiding of his life.
  3. You couldn't make it up, yet the Tories are more popular than ever, in the poles... I think the vaccine gives short term memory loss.
  4. I'd take the cash but I understand why some companies won't, after all you never know who you are dealing with... If I was a tax inspector I'd try it on witn every tradesman who darkened my doorstep.
  5. Or they could get in two separate companies that know what they are doing.
  6. Sir, you're pushing the boat out there!, Thanks all the same.
  7. This went right over my head, I'm not "in the club", club.
  8. It was a tongue in cheek comment, strangely I feel no different than I did yesterday.
  9. I don't know if to celebrate or cry, either way I'm officially a member of the club.
  10. I guess that's what's called tradition?, just carry the fecking coffin like normal, and yes I do mean normal people would. It's a celebration of life, not death. Get the box in the ground/fire, that's when the wake starts and people start to reminisce.
  11. Fancy another night of rioting and looting?
  12. You're not having much luck first link server not found, second link try's to load but times out.
  13. Shit job but someone's got to do it...
  14. Narrowboats have one tank for red diesel which is used for propulsion and heating etc, you pay full duty on 60% of diesel for propulsion, the other 40% for heating etc is duty free.
  15. No it shouldn't be white for propulsion of a narrowboat, if it was how would people people get white to the boat?
  16. As @Canal Navvy says the normal split 40/60% the 60% paid for propulsion is full rate.
  17. Fuel for propulsion of a power boat is not duty free.
  18. Airflow is important.
  19. Now that does look tidy.
  20. Do nothing until Haix chase you up, if they do then do as they ask.
  21. Afternoon Mr Johnson, it's nowt to do with me and I don't give a flying if they build there or not. It came up in conversation yesterday (see what happens when pubs open). I had the same thinking as you... nothing will stop the development, I just thought I'd read somewhere that there were certain exemptions for construction sites but the only place I could find it applies is in Scotland.
  22. I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that there are exemptions for construction sites, can't find it now though.
  23. What's the story with the big building companies?, in the next village over one of the national house builders are building a new estate. Skylarks got in there before the builders, does that stop the job?
  24. I'd bet we've both been called far worse.
  25. Merc 811d and getting ones foot down don't belong in the same sentence, i top out at about 55mph. When I get to a steep hill I get out and push it to save time.
