wheelie bin was the first thing bought after getting the 100,, i've only had to cart chip away from one customer,, everyone else has kept it,,
  2. doesn't matter wether it's tree work, or a multimillion $ snowboard brand,,, 5%.. not a penny more,,,

if you can afford it get the 18hp,, electric start makes it SO much easier,, especially if there is a little bit wedged down the shoot,
  7. yup,, that's why so many people use them,, because they're useless,,,
  8. it can take a few months,,depends what you're after. expect prices to only go one way,,,up
  9. here you go, Coppermine Photo Gallery - Information
  10. mines a 3 too,, it's SO easy to sort yourself,, do you want me to send you the instructions? it'll take you 30 mins to fix,, and save a fortune,, FWIW LR recommend it's adjusted after 50 miles of offroad use,, you auto or manual? if auto,, just use "P" and dont use the EPB
  11. 2 or 3? the 3's handbrake is basically the same as the drum brakes on a 1958 MGA,, easy to sort yourself,
  12. as they say, 95% of land rovers ever made are still on the road... the other 5% reached their destination...
  13. got given a good tip a few weeks bacl,, cut the end off,, not hte spliced end,, the other one,,,
  14. his point is that on monday there's going to be a bunch of people phoning the dealers saying they saw on arbtalk that the new husky topper os out,, it's not,,, there's been no press release, or any prices published, until there is it's merely "on the website" steve's point is that he doesnt want all the dealers thinking arbtalk is putting out duff information..
  15. Tom,, defender not a big seller in the states because it's not allowed to be sold there,,,D3 sells well to those that like "british, and culture, and things that last longer than 5 minutes" and the taunton sales guy was trying to sell you a current model,, of course he's going to tell you that the new one is years away,,,
  16. sorry stu,, meant TCD,,, say hello to mr san miguel oops:blushing: cheers,,
  17. as in,,, cancelled,,, as it stands at present the defender cannot be sold in the US,, it NEEDS to sell in the US to make it worth while to LR.. it fails so many safety requirements etc for so many countries that it needs to be updated.. it's been LR's biggest dilemma for a while now,,there's plenty on the interweb about it if you have a little dig, my local dealer is very good to me,, help me out a fair bit,, the fit chick on sales confirmed only last week that the defender is being cancelled,, cant remember whether late this year or early next.. but a replacement is on the way,, most likely based on D3 chassis,,( by that i mean the ladder one,, not the other:biggrin:)
  18. i have something coming up not sure if it's exactly what you';re after or not stu..
  19. my point exactly tradlog..
  20. jammydodger..i'm not saying it shouldn't be done,, in fact i totally agree with what is generally being said,, BUT,, do you remember a few years back to motorbike riders that filmed a ride with tank mounted cameras doing 150mph approx on the A14 (i think)... they then posted the vids on youtube,,, i seem to remember they got 2 years for that.... the point i was trying to make (ever so subtly) was that anything written on here can is there.. on paper (so to speak) for all to see and KEEP... you never know when it may come back and bite you on the backside..
  21. steve,, there's no need to use it one handed if it's below your waist and to your side,, by adjusting work position slightly the need to use one handed is completely eradicated.. just my inexperienced tuppence worth..
  22. cannot believe what some of you are writing on a public forum....
  23. that's what my brother said to me years ago when i asked about girls,,
  24. if you actually put what county you're in instead of "the flatlands" you might get a few more offers..
  25. landy,, the defender has been officially cancelled as far as my local stealer has been told,, not until late this year/ early next year but expect to see used values go up as soon as it becomes press knowledge,,
