  1. the only three tools needed are gaffa tape and wd40,, if it doesn't move and should... then wd40.. if it shouldn't move,, and does,, then gaffa tape, if none of the above apply,, then hammer..

  5. i had one rope,, it then became two ropes,,, i have two shorter and one proper long one,, i like 2 ropes in smaller trees...as in 40-50 foot
  6. i pulled 6.6 tons last week,,, didnt even notice it,,,, legally 3.5 tons on the D3 though

    Gulp-fuel

    £1.50 a litre is still cheaper than a bottle of evian at the services,,,
  10. max, a cheap ATV winch will be perfect,, at present i'm using a 3:1 pulley system,, it's a PITA but it's cheap.. if i was keeping my chipper i'd be putting on a little atv number for sure..
  11. have a good look at the tree,, the limbs are HUGE,, more like stair cases than anything down here,,, reckon that's why it looks so easy....

    Navara MPG

    don't know anyone who gets more than 27-28mpg out of a navara,, and that's the "real" mpg... not the one that the computer tells you it's getting, AT2's will knock a good 3mpg off you as well...

  17. You'll also get absolutely NO sympathy from the UK importer/ distributor in the event of something going wrong.. worth checking your insurance for using non CE marked equipment,, not worth the hassle,, just support the UK industry instead....
