  1. neither was i.... I was talking about a new tread pattern that was all,, what you need to take into account is that you'd need a new last for EVERY size on offer,,, it would cost several 100k to make a new design like you ask for, they'd need to sell thousands and thousands of pairs at VERY high prices just to cover the development costs.. hence chain boots looking fairly dated..
  2. scarpa are great boots..
  3. to give you an idea, just to cost tooling to make a new design of skate shoe sole unit, so nothing amazing, just a tread pattern,, you're looking in the region of $100,000 JUST for the tooling
  4. i used to run a footwear brand,,, believe me, it's WAY harder than it looks to even produce a skate shoe, let alone a chainsaw boot...
  5. ohhhh nice one tom..
  6. i've got pics of toms old rigging ...... for a price.. as for the pics...WOW:thumbup:

  10. as you fly out of the US, claim the sales tax for that state back,,, wether you delcare it on entry to UK is your choice..
  11. it's ALL down to exchange rates fella's... depending on what the rate is will dictate what the price is for that year. eg, i got 45 tachyon for £100, another popular store was 165 JUST because of the rates...

    todays job,

ok so it's nothing amazing but it was my first day actually working as a climber... had a mac to take down, one side was the hotel restaurant, the other side was the managers garden not allowed to drop anything on the hedge underneath or kill the various plants,,, there were lots of them.. feel free to rip to shreds... finish of the bottom next week.. the last two shots are the views form the restaurant as it was and about an hour before finishing tonight, it now sits just about 4 foot above the wall...where the three stubs are,, now they're gone.. so the penthouse rooms and the restaurant now have a view of teh gannel estuary and crantock beach..
  21. it's done it's first days work,.. and only clogged once,,, easy to sort..
