  1. the 130R figured might as well get some guts...
  2. do it as quick as you can,, if the guy can't get it together enough to do the job when he's supposed to, what do you think the work is going to be like.. first impression and all that..
  3. guess i'll be the guinea pig then... am curios as the only difference is the fact that the attachment can be removed.. the hedge trimmer is the same, the engine is the same,, it's just removable,, i get what you're saying about 1 engine,,but it also goes the other way, one engine to maintain... will see... starting with the angled hedge trimmer for 2 upcoming jobs,,, then will look at the blower, (will save £200) on a stand alone...
  4. :adore: buy it.... buy it quick...

  6. money back, go elsewhere...
  7. i was thinking the same thing,,, but them boys at jones are saying they're just as good as the dedicated tool,,, means i only have one engine to maintain,, i'm guessing by the lack of response from anyone else your thoughts are echoed...
  8. the listing has been removed from ebay..
  9. anyone else use this? I just ordered one,,,

    next job..

no it's south coast,, really tucked away too,, would never have know it was there. ian, am keeping an eye out for you,,, actually looking for the mutt,,, have got a furrball if you spot, say hello,,
  11. i actually sent a question asking if the engine runs the other way round too....
  12. toy-boater hi- lux and defender pick-ups hold their money VERY well,, there is always a good demand, even for old ones with galactic miles... they run forever as you probably know,,, you either dig deep and pay your pennies or go an alternative route and think laterally...ie below...

    next job..

yeh it's in the county,,, this guy owns 600 houses.....lost his wife 2 years ago, rattles around this huge house which he cannot sell as he'd have to give up the garden, to be honest they're the first gardens i've EVER been in that "moved" me... they're un believable and no amount of photo's are going to do it justice, although I'll have a go and try and get as many up as possible,,, he basically walks about the garden, sees a patch that needs love and attention, and sets to designing something "different" in his head, nothing on paper, just gets in his little digger and starts moving stuff about, the bamboo forrest is original, some of the stems are a good 8 inches in diameter. there's a section of natural woodland that he just leaves to get on with it's own business, any downed trees are left in place etc etc. there must be 4 acres of bluebells alone...... it really is a magnificent garden that would put alot of national trust places to shame... havent even started on the car collection.... ferrari 308, e type, DB4, XK120, silver spirit etc etc etc.....
  14. 200T, 230 and a 362.....think i need to shop.... 230 is for loaning to groundie... and for stuff i dont want to screw the 362 on,,,, it's actually a good little light saw as long as she's kept sharp...
  15. think of it like this... tantalize a women into bed? or pressurise her?????
