  1. mine is the complete opposite,,,
  2. my harness is a skylotec and there is no comparison to be honest,,, it's like getting out of a defender into a discovery 3.. rich,, i do believe the treemotion is REALLY sensitive to set-up,, fortunately the one i've got here was previously set up nad used by someone that knows what they're doing,, and i have to say it was comfy straight away,, first time i've used a floating bridge/sliding ring set-up too,, love it, re love spuds,,, no issue there,, mine aren't big enough,,,
  3. used one for the first time today,, I am now a climbing god,,:thumbup: It's totally transformed my climbing,, highly recommended..
  4. was thinking about this more today rich, I've got carpel tunnel, arm pump and as yet the doc has failed to cure me,, pulling into the tree on a vt is really straining my arms,, where as the prussik is more comfortable,, once the top line is in i've been using the vt though..as per your set-up.. i do like it once in the crown..

    bamboo is a brilliant up and coming material,, espect to see more and more of it being used as it's sustainable, very fast growing, and the properties are favourable to clothing manufacturer,, one of the brands i deal with "arbor" has been using bamboo in clothing for ooohhhh ten years now,, their tees are softer than anyone elses by a country mile, Tommer will vouch for it,, he's got a bamboo tee,, wether he knows or not heheheh

  11. ok,, then looking at jonesies site,,, the options are beeline,, or marlow,, am i right in thinking i need at least 3mm difference between the cord and rope to be effective,, if that's the case then there isnt alot of choice? or can someone enlighten me?
  12. find that the Vt is great in certain applications but not all,, think it's experience rich,, you have lots of it,, i don't It's the speed into the tree that i find the prussik a little better for me,,
  13. as title suggests, not happy with the prussik i've been using on my 11mm tachyon,, have bee line on my VT but am looking to add a new prussik for when i cannot be bothered with the VT, SO,, what do you tachyon users use for prussik?

    what are your motox boots made from? are they leather or plastic, It could actually be sweat NOT water,,, it's all very well having breathable socks but if the boots dont allow the travel of moisture then you might as well be wearing a plastic bag.. re washing,, for goretex, as Yve quite rightly says, upto 40' should be no problem,, DONT use detergent,, Lux flakes are the best..

  25. i'm on easily,, my mate the web designer uses them for all his sites,, it's what he does for a living and he says he's had no bother..
