nail on the head peter,,, it's more the ringing up that is the issue,, i have a job coming up that is too far away from tom to rent/ rob his where i will need at least a 28" bar for two days solid.. and i DO need a 90cc saw.... tom,, your 88 is just too heavy,,, i'd like to still be able to go for a surf at the end of a days work,, and carting the 88 around i cant surf for a week,,,
  7. and the driving test??
  8. it chips great... i've used it,,, and if i wasn't tied down,,, i'd be chip right now,,, tom,, it looks great,,, did you remember to paint the round outside edge of the shute? good point re the wheels,,,, a nice set of D3 wheels would look good on that,,

looking for a saw to carry a 28-30" bar,,, getting to the point where i need to get one sorted,, So,,, opinions,, lets ave em,,, i've used a 660,, a few years old but it was a nice saw,, have used a larger husky, but cannot remember what model (tommer may chip in as it's his) i like the hunger of the husky,, but all my saws are stihl so am used to finding my way round em,,, that's it,,,nothing against husky, no reason for not having one yet,,, so is this to be my first husky?

    Chilean miners.

"text book" didn't think there was one for this sort of thing..
  15. as a fan of chilean wine i have my fingers crossed for the rescue that is just starting.. can't imagine what those lads have been through,,, prayers and thoughts to all in peril,,, it's on the beeb now for the other dads doing the red-eye shift..
  16. you need to look at the operators foot closely,, she REALLY is wearing black leather high heels,,,
  17. can that be added to any splitter dean? i love it..
  18. the discovery's "other" chassis would be fine,,, it's more the integrity of the body that would be a worry with it incorporating a monocoque chassis too.. what i had thought about was putting a tipping floor inside,, then paneling it all out,, so from the outside it looks like a d3,, but inside a sneaky tipper..
  19. i do believe the operator is wearing heels....
  20. ba-bum-Tish....
  21. lorry,, i feel for you i really do,,, how does it work with twins? they feed at the same time or alternate?
  22. seems there's alot of us about at the moment,,, guess we're all getting used to revolving around a 4 hour cycle:biggrin: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZa7hU6tP_s]YouTube - COTM - Dad Life[/ame]
  23. was looking at this for DERV not red,, not applicable to me sorry
  24. D3 commercial = removal of all rear seating, including 6 and 7..no jump seat left i'm afraid,, then there is a bulkhead added behind the drivers/ passenger seats, then false floor is put in to make a level load area, this then gives a few hidy holes finally the windows have black plastic inserted to completely black out the back,, oh, and all seatbelts are removed,, tax bracket changed et voila... re air suspension,, it self levels whatever load you put in the back,,, cool feature.. the worry with chopping up a D3 is that the body is monocoque so you'd need to be VERY carefull on what you cut off,,, although there is a ladder chassis too this is for off road performance, the monocoque is for the on road bit.. i've already thought about a D3 tipper,, got so far and walked away,, not worth it,, re range rover,, ther 6 wheeler from specials would be good,,,gibraltar fire service use them
  25. it's supposedly the "modern" diesel engine that would benefit the most,,,
