    what laptop?

can you run autocad on mac? i'm another one shouting for mac,, but check if the software you want to run will work on it, and before anyone says put a partition in,, well ok, you can,, but you'll then open your lovely mac up to all those nice pc viruses... and it would also just make it a VERY expensive pc,,,in which case,,, get a dell,, or sony..

so they're worth the money then? seeing as i'm in the market for new boots.. and from mattyf's post it seems there are more people who've stuck a saw in their boot,, just seems most keep it quiet..
  11. i'm not the only one bolt.....did it twice,,,,
  12. i'll sack myself now dave.. FWIW, i don't believe it was negligence at all,, i was guilty of being in a bad mood, cos i got wound up by a customer while i was in the tree,,, if no one ever made mistakes,, we wouldn't need PPE,, or HSE etc etc,,

  18. on any other day i would,,, but don't think carpet tape will stop a 200.... not worth the risk if i'm honest,,, my feet are worth more than the cost of a pair of boots,,, over the summer i climbed in walking boots a bit,,,, never again,, tom,, i prefer hIAx...
  19. i'm not knocking hiax tom,, different foot shapes fit different feet,,, i can't help it if you lot all have weird feet..

  21. yes it was,,, but i guess i'm not the first person to do it,, otherwise why do we have chainsaw boots in the first place,, darren...I posted the photo as an example to others,,, not to be told what a muppet i was,, i knew that already... and i'm assuming you report EVERY little near miss???? nigel,, they do look alot like the stein ones,, cannot for the life of me find another pair now though,, even the alico site does not show them,,,, guess i need to go boot shopping..
  22. not sure what model, but they are/ were alico boots, tried loads on,, and coming from a background in footwear i was fussy on fit and comfort,, have to say they blew the others out of the water,, especially the hiax things,,, buckets would be more comfy than those things,.,,
  23. i thouhgt it was going to be a new series of heliloggers,, but i like your style,, although your heli looks pink
  24. nope,, as it hit me i pulled away,, it took a load of wadding, but it came off ok,, i pretty much jumped out of the tree to get to the ground and check my foot as it hit hard enough for me to think i'd cut myself badly as it hurt like hell,,,
  25. i would suggest they got some consonants my had has a few after his name,, including MBE,, he doesn't use them,, but i do, every time i send a letter,, i'm proud of the fact my pops has an MBE so i'm happy to tell the posty..
