  12. its got loads of names pinning, tooth, boring, its called a dogs tooth cause when you cut through the holding piece at the back you come in at roughly 45% which leaves a bit of wood that looks like a tooth, however some people dont do this but just bor in the side and then saw straight out the back personally i have never used it, even on weighted large fells, i just get a powerful saw and cut as fast as poss, however i wouldnt advise this unless you know what you are doing
  13. I luuuuuuuuuvvvvvvvvvv MEWP's, and i'm not a girl.
  14. A few tips on how a barbers chair can be avoided would also be appreciated. Do a dogs tooth or get a fast reeving saw and go for it

  17. i think there is 2 main reasons 1. its hastle getting it on the digger and we have a big tracked predator which is always on the trailer ready to rock and roll 2. like i said earlier u need some1 who is very good on a digger else u end up with a right old mess however on the rare occasions i have seen it going if it is in the right hands it is a good bit of kit

    Day Rate

its all relative some companies cant even pay the overheads unless they charge 800-1200 a day, others are smaller scale and can afford to come in abit cheaper
  19. we hav 1 and we dont use much but i think its ok, i bet the reason they wont demo is because u need some1 who is really good on a digger to use it efficiently

  21. tried out my new Jonsered cs 2165 today, initial impressions were good, quite light and vibration seemed low, although not as pokey as i thought it might be. anyone got any thoughts on them?
