  1. many a true word, on one of our contracts we hav been told to do cuts like that for habitat, its quite good fun playing at being a cowboy

  3. i would also advise an alarm which rings your mobile, that way you know if any1 is around. They are beggars and will stop at nothing. Last time we were done we actually got images of them on cctv, but they wear dark clothes and balaclavas so you cant get facial detail. What im really saying is dont just rely on a box, cause i used to put all our saws in one and think we were untouchable, but they are prepared. They used hydraulic cutters and were into it within about 2-3 minitues
  4. we used to have jobox which look similar to knaack thieves peeled them open like tin cans., does slow them down a little though.
  5. Some lovely cuts on display there, luv the ladders too. Thats given me an idea....
  6. what model saw is it cause we run mainly komatsu and have a fairly impressive komatsu grave yard, so may be able to find u the part

  10. just got my new spiderjack 2 through post today, tried it out on an oak in the garden, really liked it although it can be abit jerky, guess ill get used to it though.

  13. let alone the risk of kickback, the whole tree could come back quickly if it wanted to, why didnt they use the skidder? there is too many variables with bottle jack method IMO, finally note there new HSE approved ultra-light helmets!

  24. certainly is, we have a major which has been in family for about 45 years but that one is in bits all over my brothers garage, however we are getting there, only trouble is i think we might be afraid to get it dirty!
