  1. I have 5 garden/grounds contracts for a growing residential care home business that i am finding difficulty in getting someone reliable /trustworthy/efficient etc to carry them out, how would i go about selling the contracts ? all 5 are worth £38000, regular visits , 12 months of the year, payment via bacs, none of them are rocket science, seasonal baskets/pots etc, grass cutting, beds and borders, hedge cutting/leaf clearance, all have compost areas, all based hampshire.. any thoughts, just need to keep them looking smart all year round Cheers
  2. Thinking of either toyo open country or cooper discoverer at3 for my jeep kk, anyone had dealings with either of these tyres, normally have general grabbers but thinking of trying something different, plus jeep is a bit of an odd size, 235/60/18 Cheers
  3. 6 bolts holding the bed on, only problem i had taking the bed off mine was the bloody ring around the fuel filler neck by the cap, give the bolts a squirt of wd a week before , should come off ok, 3 guys will lift it off with no problem
  4. My freinds mature ash tree is looking very odd this year, smothered in seed pods but very few leaves, i would say 80% pods to 20% leaves, any ideas lads and lasses Mike

  9. pretty much had air rifles all my life from 12 onwards, im 49 now, just had a break for a while and not familiar with latest equipment, im not a bad shot allthough eyesight failing a bit !, country boy through and through, shot guns, rifles etc all under my belt, spent last 20 years building my business up and now im in the position to take a bit of a back seat and enjoy some stuff i did when younger, may even get another black widow catapult and smash some green houses lol Thanks for all the input from everyone, reckon im going to go down the 177 route
  10. My misses is a good shot , so im thinking maybe ill get a .177 and .22 and we can mix and match and see what the outcome is, we look after the grounds of a huge residential care home and the rabbits are scoffing all the plants she has put in, so retribution is playing a big hand in this lol, and the residents are partial to rabbit pie !!
  11. yep, what your name here said
  12. Im getting back into air rifle shooting after 15 odd years, i used to have a weihrauch hw 77 carbine .22, heavy old thing but did the job of killing rabbits etc. Ive seen a good package in my local mole store, webley os quantum for £185, looked at some reviews on the tube and it seems that .177 has a better kill range at over the 25 yard range, and .22 better for sub 25 yards, any of you guys or gals have an opinion on this, i want to knock rabbits, squirrels etc over, possibly up to 50 yards, ive always been a died in the wool .22 man but thinking about .177 now for the further distance Cheers Mike
  13. Looking for an experienced, keen gardener to help out with some contracts in romsey, waterlooville and old netley, lawnmowing, strimming etc, care of shrub beds, care of flowers in pots etc, blowing paths and car parks, year round work,in residential care home gardens, own kit or can supply mower etc, must have own van/pickup. On going work for the right person, pay to be discussed. You must be polite and be able to chat to residents ,and be reasonably well turned out Contact me if interested and we can have a chat over a beer or a coffee Cheers
  14. 266xp was a great production saw, but getting old now,if you are using a saw to earn a living, go for 365 ,better anti vibes/warranty/parts availability/reliability
  15. Thanks gardenkit, yes this is exactly what happened, i replaced the solenoid a few months ago as it failed to engage,so possibly a bad replacement, i will seek out another Cheers
  16. Turned machine off today, solenoid( i think) was still running, pulled one of the wires off..still running, started taking earth lead off the battery, lots of sparks, then starter kicked in, key was out, pulled wiring from ignition...still cranking !!, finally got earth lead off and it stopped Help ! Cheers
  17. Thinking of selling my 2 bad boys, saw has had 5 tanks of fuel through it, brushcutter has done maybe 20 hours work, not hard up but hate seeing them there doing nothing now my work has changed, both in A1 condition and both less than 4 years old, husq 372 and husq 525 strimmer do everything i need these days

    Stihl O8S

i have one, but would prob need a carb kit and a sonic clean
  19. oregon here aswell,£40 i think
  20. have you checked/cleaned clutch springs/shoes, just a thought
  21. have you been cutting ash with that saw, chain looks dry, ash seems to suck all the chain oil away
  22. i run full skip on my jonsered 2188 (390 xp) 28", performed well in oak, main reason i got the skip chain was in the event of my bigger saw needing repair i could use my 372 with same bar and chain, less drag ,so smaller power head would do the job
