  2. No, owner user, although i did sack an employee a while back, 6 months later backpack blower, brushcutter and hedge cutter were all pinched .....

Right, i have drained the aspen out of the blower, refilled with petrol and stihl 2 stroke oil ( i have used this for years with no problems ) i have tuned carb and is now running well Not blaming the aspen in any way, i was just curios as to weather i had a bad batch I will run a few tanks through and then go back to aspen to see what happens I will update soon
  4. thats what i have, stuff the aspen, im going back to regular 2 stroke, never had any problems in 30 years with pump fuel
  5. Following on from husky hedge cutters not running, now a brand new husky blower will not run on aspen. HAVE I GOT A DODGY CAN OF ASPEN ????
  6. I am going to put regular 2 stroke back in them tomorrow, see if it makes a difference
  7. New hedge cutters running fine , decided to run them on aspen and then all sorts of problems, cutting out etc, do they have to be re tuned to run on aspen ?? Cheers

    I know that the old stihl 090 was 137cc, but why no modern saws that big, stihl 088/880 husky 3120 and dolmar 166 were all 120 ish cc, modern tech, the newer saws would eat the old 090, in terms of speed ( maybe not torque tho ) i suppose weight comes into it ? Just thinking like !

  13. I would say that is a 288 pot as it has a decompressor, 281 never had one as far as i know
  14. Wayfarer, planted many of these in hedgerows, bastard to get the spirals on tho without a bit of pruning !
