Hi there! I was wondering if it would be possible to get the ball rolling on an order for a bulldogbone. My email is .

Cheers

2. If you aren't getting on with it and fancy selling it on drop me a pm!
3. In all seriousness though. As Mr bray pointed out, you'll be up the creek should your equipment fail during use. Although the gear may be able to take the strain the legislation is pretty clear on what we should be using as professionals. I would rather pay the extra and have piece of mind regarding insurance.
4. Yeh Man! happened to mine as well. I thought I showed you the nail I used to replace the bolt. Its a Pretty technical fix though, so you may want to give me a call so i can walk you through it
5. I think they are good for stopping the chancers. But as Karl said iv heard of people using gas axes and even jaws of life to open them up like a can of sardines. I think they are a brilliant as a slowing tactic and if combined with an alarm system that requires the police to be there within 10 mins could be near enough bomber!.

zigzag mk3

I broke my mk2 after about 4 months and I'm still going strong on the mk3 after around 6ish. no complaints here......although, I still think its only a matter of time.
7. Looked sweet! Also the speed line looked like it made it a hell of a lot safer/easier than cutting+chucking. Nice work!
8. great video mate! keep em coming!

This is a video of the second half of a beech I took down And it's only my second video, so be gentle....hahaha. [ame] [/ame]
10. Has anyone got the new xiaomi yi go pro type camera? The test footage looks brilliant! And the price, at around £100, can't be ignored. As I understand, it doesn't have a case out yet but they are working on one. If anyone has got one I'd love to know your thoughts.
11. Awesome Thanks for all the opinions guys.
12. Iv recently moved firms and today had the new boss tell me to use a large ,3t polyester lifting, sling to snatch heavy timber. I asked about it and he said its stronger and because the line won't take that much weight with that harsh a bend in it. I am tying, and always have tied, a timber hitch/running bowline followed by a half hitch. This is because I figure that the half hitch eases the Bend ratios in the line and the multiple hitches allow for some energy absorption as they constrict on the piece. Also your rigging system is only as strong as the weakest link. i did question this at the time but didn't force it. My thinking is that if you tie a bowline and put a steel carabiner and sling on you are not only loading a bowline fully (potentially reducing the strength of the line by 30%) but you are also subjecting the rope to a harsh bend around the steel carabiner. I suppose my question is, am I right in thinking that it would be safer to continue using my current method simply the line)? or is what the boss saying true and am I missing the bigger picture? Any help or insight would be much appreciated! Cheers in advance guys
13. Sorry to hear about the accident Sean. All of us over here wish you a fast and full recovery. Best wishes Toby
14. I like the look of the minty! It's not too dissimilar to the Johnson. Reckon I'll try that out this week. Cheers for the post!
15. Yeh that's a fair shout, I definitely respect the haas for what it is and tip my hat to the chap who came up with it. I would happily pay the money for a real one, now that I know how good a homemade one is. What's peoples preference to storage after using it for the ascent? Iv seen some people clip it to a side d and cruz around with it still attached, and others ball it up and chuck it on the back of the harness.
16. I made this one up last night, and refined it this morning.
17. Have you tried the isc hms Mighty Mouse? It's the same as the hms just more compact.
18. Hi there Kevin! I Was wondering if you knew when I might be able to get my hands on a rope runner? I noticed that they are out of stock on the singing tree website and I'm super keen to get climbing on one! Cheers in advance
19. Yaright there chaps! As the title suggests. There are lots of guys I meet at work who seem reluctant to change over to auto tune saws whether it be stihl or husky. I'm really pro auto tune, however I have this week realised I have no idea how it actually works. I'm particularly interested in husky as that's what I run. But I am also interested in the stihls. Is it tuned via a sensor on the exhaust? Is it tuned due to rpm and throttle usage? I'd also like to hear people's opinions on why they think that naturally aspirated saws are better than auto tune and vice versa. Cheers TKO
20. Hi there guys, we've just had one of our stihl br600 backpack blowers stolen from one of our sites down in Fareham (hampshire). If anyone who sees one for sale with a smashed choke switch (bit of black plastic still attached to the choke rod) and a bit of throwline choked around the nozzle by the handle with a stein accessory beaner could let me know that'd be sweet. cheers
21. We are based in Eastleigh and are currently looking for groundies/climbers. We have both full time and sub contract positions available. Ideally needs 30, 31, 38. Please contact me at Cheers
22. Cheers for that man, some interesting stuff on there!
23. Has anybody ever tried lowering off a turf mounted ground anchor before? If so how did you get on and were there any drawbacks? Cheers
24. I found caritools a pita aswell, so iv changed mine out for some of the large bent gate congs. Iv found they roll flat against the saddle when moving through brush/epi and never get snagged, yet they are easy as hell to clip up one handed with a 540. Also thanks for the share on that vid, tried that out today and works like a charm
