i lived in one, if you live buy your self a small caravan is easier to heat and make a skirt around the bottom of it to stop some of the heat loss out through the floor, use propane gas as butane freezes easly, a wall of straw bales will stop some of the wind chill

Hi if it,s a common rail diesel it may have a leaking injector that allows the rail pressure to drop, when the engine is stopped and it needs a lot of cranking to build the rail pressure up again, the smoke will be from the injector that has leaked fuel in to the cylinder. cheers Mark. -
when a bargain comes a long you buy it, machine has done 20hrs and paid 4 grand cash for it, waiting for delivery of of a county 1174 with a roof mount crane, want a cheap tractor to tide us over.

took delivery of our spaltfix 280 today lovely, we,ve plenty of wood, but still no tractor to power it, going to see if i can borrow one until we buy a tractor, it,s no fun without a tractor:confused1:

does anyone run their chipper on red diesel?

used to drive fuel tankers and the diesel all came out of the same storage tanks, then the customs & excise guy would drop dye tablets into your road tanker if your delivery was for red. would you run your £60,000 tractor on red if it was a low quality fuel??? -

crankseals, take the flywheel off and hook the seal out, on the clutch side take the clutch off and the oil pump off then hook the seal out and put the new ones in, simples! cheers Mark.
