  11. Hi does anyone know of a secondhand ifor williams canopy for LR110 Hi cap for sale am travelling back from Bedford to Aberdeen on sat (4th May) afternoon/evening. Alternatively anyone know of alternative tops for sale or who does good discounts on new tops. Cheers
  12. Think if I remember he has replaced the core, thats why he can use locking brummel splice but I could be wrong
  13. Lad I sub to in aberdeen has 3 pairs are ok, better than a normal set of ladders. The oldest set were made from tubular bars and are the best the newer one are made from box section and are not very good. The feet soon fall off, the frame cracks and they need gentle use. He has had 2 pairs of the later box section type replaced, but the replacmend ones are now knackered and I refuse to use them now but his lads still do. Bit negative I know but hope it helps.

  17. When knocking off large limbs with big saws, normally unclip saw strop from me, then if saw gets trapped by limb, just let it go. Can always buy a new saw not a new life. Never yet happened to me but just in case it does not go as planned

  20. Hi If you want to do further course in the future do NPTC as it is the norm prerequisite to move forward. Lantra used to be an on course assesment by the trainer, NPTC assesment is carried out by an independant assesor and not your trainer. Hope this helps and is correct as this was how how it was when i did.

  22. Yep pretty much what FC said when I spoke to them on thursday and confirmed in their advisory note they E-mailed to me pm me if you want a copy
  23. Should be ok if we get a normal cold winter again, to knock the population back again the aphids are all over the needles at the moment at Huntly, but are mainly parisatised in Aboyne when I was there on Thursday.
  24. Green spruce aphid the sitka's up here are being hit hard
