  9. This proposed strike has nothing to do with increasing wages it is about introducing an industry minimum standard with wages and training. Like a lot of you in the tree world that are being under cut by joe bloggs the same is happening with fuel tankers general haulage companys like stobart are under cutting the companys that have many years in the industry they are using drivers that have the bare minimum of training and are pushed to the limit. The firm I work for run 100% legal in fact exceeding the speed limit by 4mph is gross misconduct instant dismissal, we have some sort of training at least once a fortnight who would you rather have in charge of 40000 lts of petrol on the motorway ?.

  11. What makes it a nightmare is the petrolium officer used to be from the fire service which ment one set of rules this changed a few years ago in many counties as the local council have taken over this role and each seems to have their own set of rules.

    Husky 55

I have a 55 which is about 8 year old has had loads of use as it was my only saw for a long time. I have never put a spanner on it apart from replacing wear parts I used to run both 15 and 18 bars not the quickest but just keeps on going. Having a decompressor really helps with starting. The wife now uses it as I find it to heavy to use all day and she does not like my ms211 and ms230.
