  1. A couple from today, 1.5m reduction on this TPO'd beech after someone topped it out..... A reduction to give more light into the house on the oak and felling 2 trees.
  2. Deceptively big stem from the first picture.
  3. So we completed the last section on this side of the road today. Only around 5 ton of timber on this bit.
  4. Another companies. Very good but I still prefer my 1928 greenmech
  5. Started a few weekends worth of highways works. Quite nice being contracted in to supply the skid steer, workforce and other pieces of machinery.
  6. He's a bloomin nice guy too. Met him a few times at shows. Normally carrying a jug of cider.
  7. Fat old stem on that!
  8. A few from today.
  9. I still think it was a lot better than a hitch IMO. But I guess most of us at the time were looking to push the wrench setups to its new boundaries.
  10. I used that setup for a good deal of time. It's great. The lock jack is tested on a single line so.... Plus me and dan did a load of drop tests with one and it survived everything.
  11. Yeah because it might be winter when we go back
  12. Yeah I said if we haven't access and were not allowed to set a crane their. It's the full price and I'll walk away. So the crane is an additional cost to the client.
  13. Too many lawn relays Adam.
  14. Basically because we now have no extraction route. It's a crane job. I'm just waiting for the date.
  15. So after having to cancel the remainder of the beech removal because of a neighbour changing his mind and not letting us use his garden to lower into. We decided to extract some time from a transfer yard were closing down.
  16. Did the root plates fall back or stay up
  17. Started this medium sized beech today. Adam Bourne showing why he's such a good climber today. He was also very good with the apprentice as we thought he needed to learn the rigging ropes.
  18. Indian bean tree which may be regularly pollarded so the leafs oversized?
  19. That's a pretty cool looking tree. Just crazy natural art.
  20. A couple of recents Thats what a pigeon escaping a sparrow hawk can do to to double glazing.
  21. Sounds good but I'd always go for a bollard if money permits. Maybe a swing cheek rigging pulley too. So you can rig off centre if required.
  22. It's lift capacity isn't great but for shifting brash to the chipper its king.
  23. Getting this finished off. It's taken a while to modify it but I'm happy with the results.
  24. Conny bashing recently. Just the stumps tomorrow.
  25. Steam cleaner
