  1. That's come up nicely james.
  2. Oh and it's easier to sell Norfolk tree care over David's trees??
  3. There's also Norfolk tree surgery. But I'd go with yours as to be honest it might sound close but it's actually completely different. Also i personally think I prefer not having your name as the company name. My only reason for this is it gives you a chance to say well I'm going to have to run it past the boss. When that one person catches you off guard with the quote. Also good luck. Ps I set my business up 6 years ago with £1000 bought a wreak of a hilux, wooden greedy boards, rented chippers and slowly bought stuff as I gained more money. I replaced the hilux for a transit, sides and sign writing. Website is a must IMO get it live ASAP as searches are also based on trust. This can be how long your website has been on the web.
  4. Here's mine http://www.targettrees.com I've got a few others but they all look like this.
  5. I know beaver plant own a couple but haven't a clue what they do with them once there old.
  6. I bought it thinking it would be out 4 days a month. In reality it's must go out around 16 days a month. It just makes moving timber easy and because you can leave it in large lumps it's very rare wood gets stolen off site anymore.
  7. Had to deal with this call out today.
  8. I imagine thats going to look the nuts once carved.
  9. Contracted in this hiab lorry to lift out some cedar lengths.
  10. An easier way of saying picture 4 and 5 and asks a question in fewer words I guess.
  11. Nasty split on the last one.
  12. Had a more relaxed day. I took some time to give the newest team a bit of an assessment to see how she's coming on. A few little bits on positioning but coming on well. Anyway here's the pics.
  13. You'll love it.
  14. Looks nice james. Got to love a spanner in the works.
  15. not painful at all, just some girls out there
  16. 1 = for me, yes! 2 - treestuff atm
  17. Got to go back in the morning to rake up?? Hahaha, a lot would of felled it for firewood without a thought of retention.
  18. Pulley looks fine to me but I think most things have been covered, just play around with length and configurations.
  19. This makes up for that tedious beech take down at the end of the year
  20. Oh and some pics of the job. An avenue of cedars planted in 1902 as part of the hospital entrance. The trees were about 12 years old when planted according to some of the old boys working there. Timber has been cut to 10ft lengths for the lorry to hiab out on Saturday
  21. hopefully this will load here or via the link. Now this is the closest ive ever accidentally left something to a fell. it wasnt until it started to come over we realized but at that point its all about fate.
  22. That looks like a demoralising task. Glad it's not me as id of been crying by 10am.
  23. Cool, kestrel it is. Definitely a blackbird, I'll see if there's still a bit of Wing in the fork when I go back Wednesday.
  24. To be fair I'm no expert, so your probably right. Mines a guess
  25. It was a small sparrow hawk I think, it went on the floor afterwards. Looked like a black bird got killed. Yeah they can really rip the grass up although it's not a big issue here. Most the time we board the access route but have had to do the same with hired Avants in the past as when loaded the front wheels bite in.
