  1. Yeah personally I though it's very expensive and won't turn a profit like a chipper does. But yeah it's out a good 4 days a week. I'm probably more surprised that it easily removed the need for 2 extra guys on site.
  2. Been on the RW for a couple of weeks solid and have decided it's actually very different to the RR. I think the RW is smoother as the RR can be jumpy if you don't commit to descents. Also I only ever seem to tie alpines on redirects now as i had a small incident when I snapped a redirect out and it came to say hello. (5p to 50p moment)
  3. Yeah I honestly think that I'm super busy because of it. If I'm not out with it on my sites I'm normally extracting for other companies on weekends. Helps them and helps me.
  4. Cheer Scott, I think it's because I own a few bits of kit that make me able to win these types of work. Well over most my competition, don't think I could ever be without the skid steer these days. Although the manual doesn't say anything about you having to watch your weight because it's not exactly hard work.
  5. We started a site clearance for a new development today. Only 3 conifers left to fell and a whole pile of brash to throw a match too. The stumps are high because mark b told me it's how the cool kids roll and so a digger can get them out.
  6. Borrowed, but it's high on the list.
  7. A few from yesterday
  8. Nice shape Cheers jay, it's nice when time constraints allow us to spend a lot more time than normal.
  9. Typical!! I hope you had strong words about it over a yogurt
  10. A nice and sympathetic reduction in this TPO'd copper beech. I didn't climb it, I let one of my guys crack on with this.
  11. A quick reduction this morning on a box elder. It had been topped by the gardener a number of years ago. About 1m off the top and sides.
  12. Yep! It's the type of line we use as the safety line on pole climbing. It's alright stuff but very hard on the hands. Used the RW but found I had more wraps than normal. 180fts worth doesn't last long.
  13. Yep, I found cougar blue flattens out with most srt devices.
  14. The fourth pic is sweet.
  15. Well done, immaculate tidy up by the way.
  16. Indeed it is. A bit of a faff but yes open the 2 silic pins, inc lip the carabiner from the pulley and connect back up.
  17. Just fancied a change but I must say the rope runner is a lot better.
  18. Nice cob judging there.
  19. You do know this thread comes up in that search??? Doubly now I guess
  20. Yeah beeline is very good. Also on another note rope runner left In the bag today for the rope wrench. Got to say I had a hard time deciding on which hitch.
  21. Good to hear someone's got one. Pics, pics, pics I've been using the rock exoticas rockstar recently and so has me Bourne. Really really rate it. And something about bend angles.
  22. I was using tachyon today with armour pruss
  23. The rock face looks like a gorilla! Nice work, I think I saw them on the Facebook page.
  24. A call out from today. One side failed and the Middle had a couple of split branches. Decided to reduce it rather than removal to keep it. Well until t gets ash dieback.
