  1. If you bolt anything down or the bars use these over the bolts: NO-GO Virtually impossible to remove without a grinder and that makes too much noise Just don't put them on until you know they're in the right place I use them on anchor points with M12 bolts/anchor plugs to lock things down, or through walls if the need arises...
  2. Apologies again, I've not been having a particularly good time as of late I'd be there if I could, just no transport either
  3. Stihl Hiflex Type C, not bad, do the job...
  4. Apologies, didn't come up on the map when I searched first time
  5. As in Canada , no flights out of the UK really at the minute
  6. Yacht varnish watered down a bit with white spirit? Not so healthy whilst wet, but once dry is practically edible Would say "tung oil" but that's just as bad cost wise but does penetrate quite deep... There are danish oil + tung oil mixes that are cheaper though... Nice shroom btw

  12. I use the husky two stroke in my 460 and the Stihl bio...
  13. Do you think you could get one running a "chainsaw circus"
  14. World of Power in Fairfield/Buxton can do it I think, give them a call...
  15. If you do decide to weld it drill a small hole, approx 3mm, at the end of the crack before you start welding it... Otherwise as you weld it you could end up chasing the crack right through it
  16. As per the efforts in my own thread I'd recommend this to anyone that likes mushrooms... Rings stacked two high can be a little easier to maintain. You can use larger logs and being lower in height are easier to keep damp If you almost bury one, as shown, the fruits of the labour are there to be seen!!
  17. They mycelium seem to be making a start on the Pearl Oyster and Chicken of the Woods... Shiitake seem a little slow but are making a start too Had them wrapped in clingfilm for a few days and it seems to have helped, I thought they were drying out so took the film off to check. They weren't drying out but seemed comfortably moist... I've re-watered them and I'm going to re-wrap in a day or two... All looking good!!
  18. I only ever use the high octane in mine... Albeit they don't have catalytic converters either so I put the Briggs & Stratton fuel additive in too if it's going to be left for any length of time...
  19. Spectacular!!!!! Usually only see the "black death carpet" and then it's too late Based on the situation I'm in at the moment if you need someone to "watch the trees" I'll happily donate my time...
  20. Courtesy of Wikipedia Courtesy of google images Hope that helps somewhat...
  21. Congrats Good luck with the 31 It's not as difficult as you think as long as you've got your head screwed on
  22. Thought as much, so what you save you lose through running through more of it
  23. Just for those of you that use "bio" oil in your saws I've been doing a bit of digging and found a supplier that stocks the "Gulf" product... They can supply 20Ltr drums at £47 +VAT including delivery, for single drums. At the minute that works out at £55 a drum, delivered... Buying more reduces the price accordingly... They can supply in 200Ltr drums and 1000Ltr IBC's for those that really get through it... I've asked for specs to see how it compares to the Stihl products and others... If anybody's interested send me a PM for details....
